Althought centrally located the hotel is quite expensive when it comes to price/value ratio. For nearly 300 thousand rupiah you get a smallish air-conditioned room with a bathroom en-suite. The rooms are quite worn and have definitely seen better days. There are TV-sets and phones. In the double room probably half of the space is occupied by the bed. On...

cheap and affordable! though food nothing to shout about. do avoid 4th floor room as they don't have a lift! its clean with basic necessities. location very very good. jln jaksa is a walk away from Tanah Abg, Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia. near transjakarta busway to all the hotspot in jakarta for shopping. if your tired from roaming around...

I stayed here for the final night of my Java trip. It is near the northern end of Jl. Jaksa with lots of restaurants & bars nearby and a 24/7 minimarket right across the street. The reception looks nice enough but already the staircase with its uneven stairs was not too nice - on top of that, the floor in...

The Margot is one of the few midrange hotels in the Jalan Jaksa area and would be reasonable value for money if you could actually get any sleep! The live band next door starts at 11pm and finishes at 2:15am, at which point the drum and bass takes over. Perhaps the rooms at the back would have been better but...

Stayed at Le Margot end of July 2010. The hotel it's is fine given that the price we pay per night was quite affordable. Certainly not the cheapest around Jalan Jaksa. The hotel have no lift, but we still requested for a room at the highest in the hope to avoid noises from the pub next door & noise from...

Hotel Margot is probably the only clean and good hotel in Jalan Jaksa. As compared to the other guest houses its a well maintained hotel. The room are airconditioned and clean. Though the size of the room are small, its a steal for the value. Stayed there for 5 days and was given a hospitable and friendly service by the...

This hotel seemed like it was good value for the price, but the TV and hot water in my room didn't work and worst of all, someone broke into my locked room while I was asleep and stole my purse. It was done in the morning while the cleaners were on that floor and for that and other reasons I'm...

We stayed for 4 nights and after the 1st night we were forced to change rooms due to the huge amount of noise that woke us up on the first night. This was due to Dutch men bringing what we suspect were prostitutes back to their rooms after a night out drinking. This hotel has clear rules displayed saying no...

I've stayed here on numerous occasions and was suprised not to find any listing already on tripadvisor. If you are looking for a one or two night stopover in Jakarta that is clean without paying big bucks then here is a good place. It's centrally located in the main tourist drag, Jalan Jaksa, about 45 mins to the airport depending...
