I staid there just for one night but the hotel is really nice. Rooms a big and comfortable, clean and well maintained. The stuff was friendly and check-in/check-out was quite fast. For breakfast you have to go to the Blue Frog second floor. It was good but the variety could be a bit bigger. Over a hotel I would recommend

I stayed here for a week while i was on my business trip to Nanjing, it is on a very convenient location, next to the city center and surrounded by a lot of foreign restaurants. Beds are super comfy and the bathrooms had all bonuses included. I found it strange that it looked like an international hotel but there was... More

I booked a standard twin room and stayed there for 5D4N with my family. I took a cab from the airport and it cost around rmb160, you can actually take the train from the airport as hotel is very near to the train station. All the cab drivers knew where the hotel was but as most of them can't speak... More

The first think that I love about this hotel is that is has an excellent location next to all the bars, restaurants and malls, right downtown and the subway stop is just one block away. Second thing is that they have really comfortable rooms, with amazing beds and they are apartment style so they have a little kitchen with microwave... More

We stayed here for two nights during a quick visit to Nanjing. —The room— Large, with a soft mattress instead of the typically firmer mattresses found in China. Little 'kitchen' area with a kettle and a mini-fridge under the bench. Other drawers and cupboards in the kitchen were empty, with the trashcan found over by the window. Shower and toilet... More

I've been too a lot of hotels in Nanjing and Cumberland is one of the most tasteful ones I've been too. I stayed there with my mom and dad who came to see me settled in at my University. I hadn't learnt any Mandarin yet so communication was a bit of a problem, we still got what we wanted. The decor... More

Great size suites, and helpful staff. Not sure if the hotels fault or the booking website but we ended up with a room on a smoking floor. The room itself didn't smell like smoke but occasionally it could be smelled from the corridor. Otherwise all great.

This hotel is wonderful, great lobby and check in was easy and there are English speaking people. The rooms were wonderful with comfortable beds and it was a spacious room. The free sodas and fruit were an added touch. The great bathroom and toiletries were just an added bonus.

The location is fantastic. Very close to the luxury shops in Deji Plaza and plenty of good restaurants close by. The hot water system is a bit unusual and hard to work out and although the wifi is free, it's pretty slow which made it hard to get much done.

This hotel is all about location and you pay for it; I live on the outskirts of Nanjing and chose to stay here when a friend was visiting. It's 5 minutes walk to Xinjiekou and Zhujiang Lu. Staff speak fairly good English at reception Bathrooms are tiny but at least the water was very hot as rooms are apartment style... More
