Loved my one night stay hea very conveniently located near bird, flower, Mong Kok and ladies market all within easy walking distance from the hostel. Only peve was trying to find the place wish they would of had a larger sign advertising where they where. The room was a shared room great and open common area might of seem grundgy but it was clean and I had a interesting stay.

I love this place, it is full of artistic people. The coffee shop downstairs has some incredible graphic novels, books and art that I could look at for days on end. Gorgeous decor, too, throughout the building.

Loved this place! It has a unique, artistic, chill atmosphere while being very comfortable and clean. There is one larger dormitory room for around 10 people but it's cozy and provides enough privacy. If you're travelling solo, it's easy to meet other people and everyone who stayed there was super friendly. It's small place so you know basically everyone within few minutes after arrival. The best way to get there is by bus from the airport (A21) as it's only 5-7 minute walk from Metropark hotel stop. The area is not very touristy but close to the restaurants, markets and subway station so you can get everywhere very easily. Patricia was a great host. Thanks and I'll definitely stay here once I'm back in Hong Kong

I only stayed for a short weekend while in Hong Kong for a test but found this hostel unique and refreshing. The hostel is part of a Bohemian setup in a building, so it's very artsy. There is a cafe on the ground floor which serves coffee and some snacks and meals (20% discount for hostel guests). Patricia (the hostel owner) is incredibly friendly and helpful. A nice outdoor covered patio in the hallway, snacks for guests, and comfortable rooms. Each bed has its own plug and nightlight, and some beds have a cubby-like feel which you can turn into a tent-fort for privacy. The hostel guests were all super friendly and sociable as well, which made me regret having to study instead of making friends. It's not right in the thick of things but still the best hostel I've found in HK so far, especially for your money. It's about a 5-8min walk from Prince Edward station; that is one station north of Mong Kok (you can also easily walk to Mong Kok from the hostel), and just a few short stops from Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Island. This is the 3rd or 4th hostel I've stayed at in HK and I think I've finally found the one to take my business to. It was a genuine, friendly, and authentic experience.

In the last month I stayed twice in Wontonmeen. Choosing another place was never an option. It is a place, which is always familiar and always diffrent. The owner, Pat, is a very well educated person, always helpful and attentive. She knows many hidden spots in HK and explains how to get there very clearly. Beds are big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast downstairs in the coffee shop ia affordable and delicious. Buy your beer and chinese herbal tea across the street and take a walk in the Sycamore Street. It is very easy to reach Central Ferry Pier (Bus 2) and airport (A 20, N21).

This hostel is exceptional! It is clean, not too crowded and well-run. It is definitely an alternative place, the decor is very industrial and artistic. The hostel had guests from several countries when I stayed there, and it was a great vibe! The host, Patricia, is very welcoming and always available to answer questions. The hostel is situatied in Prince Edwards. This neighbourhood is very "local" and there are several great restaurants within walking distance. If you are seeking for the true HK experience, and want to live in a social hostel with alternative decor, then this definitely the place!

Amazing staff who actually care about your visit. Clean and comfy bed, cool atmosphere. Washing machine and cafe on site. Nice common area at the cafe where you can chill. Great aircon in dorm. Totally needed it when it's so hot and humid in Hong Kong. Highly recommended for solo traveler. 👍🏻
