On our first Hong Kong holiday, my sister and i had a flight delay so we were bumped off our reservation at Lee Garden Guest House (across Star Guest House and its sister property). The charming Mr. Charlie Chan however saved a room for us at Star no problem. After our conversation with him, i knew our stay would be...

I stayed at the Lee Garden guest house for 3 nights in February 2010. After reading various posts on numerous hotels and hostels I knew most of the rooms in Hong Kong would be small, but figured that I was there to explore the city and the size of the room was irrelevant. I found the staff at Lee Garden...

Stayed here for 5 nights over Chinese New Year 2010 and could not have picked a better location for the festivities: I was within 10-15 minutes by foot from the New Years parade route and the fireworks. It's also a 5-minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui station, which is accessible to the Hong Tai Sin temple and Sha Tin horse...

We stayed at the sister guest house across the road, Lee Garden Guest House. From other reviews we were aware that the rooms would be small but the instant we were shown our room we felt comfortable staying in it. What I look for most in a place to stay is that it is clean and this guest house certainly...

You don't get much hotel room for your money in Hong Kong. This is very much at the budget end of the scale and you certainly get what you pay for. The Star Guest House and Lee Garden are run by the same management, located opposite each other on Cameron Road, a great location in the heart of Kowloon. I...

Eveything has been said already. Rooms are small but still ok. The place is clean and not too expensive (according to HK standard).

we chanced upon star guesthouse walking around tsim sha tsui and later found out that they were mentioned in our guidebook... we paid 260HKD per night and though it was the most expensive we've paid on our southeast asia trip, it was the cheapest we could find in the area (that we were willing to put up with. we read...

We stayed at a sister hotel, The Star Guest House. My wife and I will always have fond memories of our stay there. It is very Hong Kong; right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Kowloon. The owner, Charlie Chan, his wife and staff were a pleasure to deal with. As others have said, it is clean...
