This hotel is located in a very convenient area. The rooms are a little bit small but comfortable. A free 3G phone is available which is highly appreciated. Nice breakfast and nice employees. Good place to stay!

i have stayed at this hotel a couple of times - despite the very small rooms, very nice service, nice breakfast, gym. Last time, there was a message when i came back to my room; Housekeeping apparently broke a jar of expensive face cream. i was not only informed but the hotel front desk purchased a similar face cream and...

The terrace at Lan Kwai Fong and happy hour reception in that area brought our stay from an okay one to a good one. The lounge is hip and it would serve the hotel well to update the rooms to match, but while keeping the Hong Kong feel. We liked the bathroom tiling a lot, but the shower curtain in...

As a preliminary point, this hotel is NOT the LKF hotel which is right by Lan Kwai Fong district. In fact, its probably half a mile away from the infamous drinking district. Now, when you first arrive, you might consider this as off-putting, but after a few days, you will be thankful that it is where it is, because the...

The hotel was lovely. It was cute, clean and the staff were both helpful and professional. They even boast a lounge area with coffee, tea, bottled water and snacks which was a huge perk after arriving a bit jetlagged. The metro is easily accessible and the area is walkable. We also had a nice view as we were up high...

This hotel definitely has its own sense of style, combining a traditional local aesthetic with modern touches, and more-or-less pulling it off. The rooms aren't big but they're perfectly clean and comfortable - and the hotel is in a fantastic location... plenty of shops and cafes all around, you're in the heart of HK street life. Which means it doesn't...

We enjoyed the hotel because of the super location in central. It is convenient for people who enjoy walking in soho and Lan Kwai Fong. The service is ok and offering free drinks etc in the afternoon. The rooms were as expected small.

we spent our last weekend here is HK. The reasons why we selected the hotel is easy access location near to soho. they provided 24hrs check in/out time. Room comes with handy wifi where you can go around HK with free unlimited data services. Services is good. The most part we love about is the free flow of wine at...

This hotel isn't anything fancy, but it has the best location in the city. Quick walk uphill from Central Station where the airport trains stops. Rooms are small-but-not-too-small and most have great views. The happy hour lasts for 3 hours and is a really great way to start the evening.

I stayed for 4 nights in the Lan Kwai Fong Hotel. The staff was incredibly attentive, kind and accommodating. Any request was met with immediate attention. The room was gorgeous, with an absolutely perfect panoramic view of the harbor and all the fantastic lights. Everything was clean and impeccable. The location allowed me perfect access to explore Hong Kong with...

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
