Excellent location. Convenient. The room was small but well designed. The only problem was the constant Christmas carols playing in the lift and all common area. Loudspeaker in front of my room. Could not have a nap during the day and had to complain. It is off at night. Don't know if it is just in December or all the... More

First time in HK. Hotel easy to locate and easy walk to mtr and busses . Lobby is tiny but staff is great. Room nicely set up and had plug adapters in place. Room smaller than USA but nice. 3 hour happy hour with free wine - don't know quality as I was sight seeing. Rates booked directly are good... More

Great spacious room. Very good location. Upstairs is Azure, it's great for party. Downstairs' dragon-i, bungalow, central of LKF. Best choice if you ever come to Hong Kong for great night out, pre-wedding party!

Traditional feel about the hotel. Kind of boutique. Nice room, maybe a tad small, with great view over the harbour. Close to all the restaurants and bars in Lan Kwai Fong. Room got turned down nicely each day too.

The night before visiting this hotel I looked with dismay at some negative reviews about this hotel. However the friendly desk staff directed us to a lovely room on the 27th floor with a view that I would describe as really good. Like most Hong Kong rooms it is compact but the big windows and clever use of mirrors compensate.... More

We chose the Lan Kwai Fong Hotel as it appeared to provide an authentic oriental decor. We also paid for an upgrade to a harbour view room. The hotel is set back from the front and in a good place for visiting the central/Lan Kwai Fong areas. It has a small footprint but is high with 30ish floors, and each... More

We stayed for 3 nights and we loved it. Reception staff were friendly and helpful even though there was a slight misunderstanding at first, that I put down to the language barrier. English isnt my first language and Im guessing not theirs either but it got sorted pretty quickly and smooth sailing from then on. I loved the decor in... More

Hotel is in the center of every activity. Just a short walking distance. Very safe 24 hrs a day. Hotel is not only near of all landmarks but transportation means of all kinds. Could't find more suitable place for my first time visit to explore this interesting city.

Admittedly, I only spent two nights in Hong Kong, so I am not sure how convenient the location is to multiple landmarks. However, the hotel is clean (with the exception of a tiny, dark bathroom with a slightly moldy smell) with great views of the harbor, and is very close to many cute stores and restaurants in the Central/LKF (little... Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
