in comparison, the room is quite big in HK. Location is very good, just right behind times square, next to metro station, convenience for shopping and food. Service is very good and helpful.

I am not a Holiday Inn fan, but usually stay at the Holiday Inn chains whenever travel overseas for the values. The Causeway Bay HI Express can accommodate our family (with two teens) without sacrificing our comfortable. Besides the location, clean room and complimentary breakfast which have been mentioned hundred times in the previous reviews, their friendly staffs provide unbeatable...

We expected this "express-style" hotel to be very basic, but were pleasantly surprised at the decent-sized room and ensuite, especially for space-conscious Hong Kong. Across the road was Times Square with its many up-market, high-end retail shops but also a delightful supermarket in the basement which carries a huge range of food items from around the world. When we yearned...

An above average HIExpress located smack dab in the middle of the Causeway Bay, it's a perfect spot for shopaholics who want to hit the stores, head back to the hotel to drop off shopping bags and head out for another round. The hotel packs a lot in a small footprint. The rooms are smallish but not tiny by Hong...

Well, for the price, there's really nothing to complain about although the room is really simple and almost everything at average. The location is superb, just a minute's walk to the shopping center Times Square and also the subway. There's also a wet market nearby where you can see all kinds of foodstuff. The dessert shop at the first floor...

I stayed in this hotel for 9 days during the Christmas/New Year holidays, and the Causeway Bay location is amazing. Right next to Times Square, where there is an MRT station, surrounded by food and shopping. There's also an amazing little dessert place just on the ground floor of the hotel building - there's always a super long line of...

The hotel is located just behind Times Square with easy access to MTR. Breakfast is included which is a set menu of 5 different types of food. Every week the contents of the menu are changed.Good room service with friendly staff always willing to help out. There are also restaurants to eat but the best is the desert served on...

We loved Hong Kong but this hotel kinda brought it down a notch. Small in Hong Kong I can understand but smelly and old I didn't like. My room on a cruise was bigger than this. Would have rather payed a little more.

This hotel is just perfect! Located beside the famous shopping mall in Causeway bay, Times Square. It's literally a few steps away from the mall and the Causeway bay Station MTR is absolutely near. There are various shopping stalls around, Mc Donald's is near, there's a money changer in front of Times Square. Beside it are lots of food stalls,...

A very nice and quiet hotel in a very noisy area. Across the street from Times Square, a huge shopping center and also a big metro station. Conveniently located for everything, whether on a business trip or a private visit. Good restaurants and breakfast. Note that the french restaurant (6th floor) is remarkable, both on price and service. Really a...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
