The Mandarin is known for their great service and the Landmark Mandarin is no exception. Both the Mandarin Oriental and Landmark Mandarin are top hotels in Hong Kong proper but the Landmark is a business man's dream hotel. Great restaurants and bars for business meetings and it is the most centrally located hotel in Hong Kong. The service is friendly...

The most luxurious hotel in Central Hong Kong. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Service is impeccable, hotel staff are extremely hospitable and concierge is very informative with regards to everything Hong Kong. The wet floors in the spa are second to none.

The room was wonderful and very comforting, the bed was always something to look forward to after a whole day of exploring Hong Kong's busy streets. The rooms are always clean and housekeeping was exceptionally wonderful. The staff gives attention to detail and puts effort into remembering small things about the guest's preferences! Ask and you shall definitely receive, I...

Such a great hotel and fantastic location for shopping, site-seeing and getting around (MTR Central train station is accessible via the Landmark Shopping Center) Room was amazing--great bathroom--and the service was outstanding from the front desk to the concierge to the doormen. They even had a nice welcome gift for our children and had a nice touch by surprising my...

I always get excited when I come to stay in The Landmark Mandarin Oriental. The rooms are comfortable and all the amenities you would need will be provided for. Great hotel. I actually prefer the MO Landmark to the original Mandarin Oriental on Connaught Rd because the Landmark is newer and nicer. Having said that, if there is no room at the Landmark (or the rooms there are too expensive), my second preference for hotels in Hong Kong is the original Mandarin Oriental on Connaught Rd. You never go...

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
