Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Hong Kong! The Cosmopolitan Hotel is in a very good location with the added bonus of the hotel shuttle bus that takes you to a selection of places! The staff were very attentive, always helpful and smiley! Our room on the 22nd floor was bay facing, we had an amazing view of the...

Booked a deluxe room facing the racecourse for my 5-day stay in HK. I was staying in the normal deluxe room for the first two nights the view was amazing considering HK is a concrete jungle, on my third and fourth nights I was offered a newly renovated room by the super kind hotel staff, the room was facing the...

Staying in Cosmopolitan for the 3rd time and the service is always welcoming as before. Special thanks to the Guest Services Managers for their attentiveness during my stay, I feel so warm to be recognised once stepping into my second home and they were very helpful when needed. They have also arranged me their newly refurbished room this time. As...

Hotel is nicely located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the race course. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the newly refurbished rooms are compact but extremely comfortable. Cosmopiltan offers significantly better value for money than all of the other HK hotels I have stayed in. HIghly recommended for both leisure and budget-conscious business travellers.

This hotel was very busy and we were a while booking in. The room was very small but adequate so that was no concern. But my big worry was the bed! It was low and hard ! I enquired at the desk and they did not understand me, English was very poor. There was already an underlay on it but...

I stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong for 4 nights and I really enjoyed my stay there. I received a free upgrade to a room with a magnificent view of Hong Kong. The staff was very helpful, the only disadvantage was the slow internet connection in the room, but other than that, a top hotel! Strongly recommended.

This hotel is highly recommended as it is close to everything. It was for a business travel so I was expecting something not too luxurious but has all the essentials. It provided the exact experience I expected.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
