It's the budget accommodation worth every dollar I've paid for it. The location is great as it's close to subway station and bus stops like few minutes' walk away. The terrace would be the only area allowing guest to smoke and chat. It's a good place to interact with other travelers and backpackers around the world. Can't complaint too much but just a tiny thing caught my attention is that I can see the corner around the bunk bed (bottom) is quite dusty. Other than this, it's all perfect.
So the word is that the building is gonna be torn down in a few days, which is a shame because for Hong Kong is great value for your money. Even though I stayed in a 21 dormroom there was enough room and two ensuite bathroom which were clean. The rest of the hostel could be cleaner, but maybe it has to do with the fact that it's gonna be torn down.
Great location and really great staff, especially Kat. We had a room with a really loud snorer our first night and she switched us to a quieter room. Slept comfortably after that! The bunks are triple layer which I hadn’t seen before but it’s easy to get up to the top. Common area is always very busy with a kitchen that you can use.
Very friendly staff specially Kat. Helped us changed beds bedroom coz someone was snoring loudly in our room will recommend it. The place is near the train station do it is very convenient to stay in. Needs more windows.
Very cool ambiance, friendly staff especially Kat, prime location, nice and quiet and yet couple of minutes away from party... definitely going to be my go to spot for future expeditions. #chalkingrocks
Had a great time on my most recent visit. I stay here every few months. Kat was very nice! I think the location is excellent, as its right near the Causeway Bay Subway and right next to a bunch of great ramen restaurants.
Best hostel ever been, super chill environment. Awesome staff (kat you are great!!!). The terraces offer an amazing view of causeway bay.The location is perfect, is in proximity of the mtr station, Time square, Hysan place and Victoria park, please check it out!!!
My stay at Yesinn was good. It’s located in Times Square Hong Kong which was great for the price and was located in a cool neigborhood for night photography. Kat the receptionist was very helpful and nice, wish I could have stayed longer!
The hostel itself is nothing that amazing. The beds were fine and the rooms/bathroom could have been cleaner. But overall it was good enough for three backpackers. The location is great (1 minute walk to the MTR) and the price was very reasonable, especially for Hong Kong.
My experience at the Yesinn Causeway Bay was moderately pleasant and the help I received from the front desk agent Kat during my check in and check out was a pleasure. She was very gracious and charming throughout my stay and made me feel a warm hospitality. Looking forward to my next visit here during my business trip.
