Overall the hotel is old. We still choose the hotel because of the pool . Also, the shampoo and bathing foam system is not user friendly. More value added activities (free of charge) for kids are added.

Room is large and comfortable. Good seaview. The quality of food is yummy. Traffice nearby is convinient. A lot of restaurants near by. A very big supermarket is near. Enjoy the trip so much. I will come back again.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The view is great and the rooms are big but because of the pandemic we can’t enjoy the activity in the hotel and also my kid can’t swim in the pool because it’s close. But we enjoyed the garden and the sea side.

Yo, from the front desk and Ronald from the buffet restaurant are the super stars and do make my stay more enjoyable and relax. We were there for a birthday celebration which was in March actually but my hubby was COVID-19 confirm case at that time and we had no choice but stay home without any celebration. This was shared to Yo while he was checking in for us. We didn’t expect a room upgrade with late checkout were offered 😱😍 My little girl was too happy that keep walking in and out the balcony. Thank you Yo!! The buffet restaurant is another highlight of the stay. Food options might not be a lot. But service are perfect and food quality is great too. Special thanks to Ronald, who did go extra miles to prepare some baby fruits for my 18-month girl during breakfast time. We went for breakfast late and seems not many options for baby, he asked if baby can eat strawberry proactively and it is my girl’s favourite ❤️ Thank you Ronald. This is the first time staying in Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel with my family. This time we enjoy the "Eatcation" with in room buffet. It is very special experience for us. The food are good enough only a bit cooler when eating. We also try the dim sum food from Yue. We have a happy moment during stay. Will come again.

A nice experience staying with Gold Coast Hotel. This is my Sixth or Seventh stays with this hotel and every time i cab experience good and professional services from staffs. And this time I also experience professional and immediate responses from different staff, from room attendant to manager, when i face difficulty, and quick helps are offered from them and this attitude is highly appreciated.

We stayed during the height of covid restrictions. There were no activities for kids. But we were able to relax and bask in the sun at the balcony. The premier balcony room was very spacious. The breakfast buffet at Cafe lagoon was enjoyable. We had a package for premier room with balcony including breakfast for 2 adults and had a buy additional breakfast for my daughter whilst booking. We had leisurely walks in the hotel grounds and walked to the nearby Gold coast piazza multiple times for coffee, stocking up drinks, snacks for the night. We were impressed with the in room dining spread and plating. Since it's far from the hustle and bustle, and spacious, it feels like we are somewhere away from HK. Needless to say we will return soon.

I was greeted by very friendly staff who wanted thought I needed a power bank, despite not knowing whether I'm a guest or not. front desk is very well trained and efficient, so are all the rest of the staff. The Cafe Lagoon was very busy, but the staff were obviously highly efficient to handle chaotic peak hours with loads of families traveling with kids. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I'm returning here with my boyfriend for staycation with no disappointment but only pleasant surprises! Especially love the balcony room which is so relaxing. Highly recommend the balcony room with a breezy sea view which you can hear the waves! The only downside is no smoking allowed. The trip was otherwise perfect!
