We spent 3 nights at The Salisbury en route to New Zealand and for what we wanted (a central base, good views, clean and quiet at night) it was spot on. Better than what we expected - something about the name of the hotel made me uneasy, thinking it would be very basic and "youth hostel"-like but far from it....

I stayed at the Salisbury for 2 nights in October 2010. This was my second visit here after staying for a week in 2007. The Salisbury is a great value for Hong Kong. The location is fantastic, right beside the Peninsula in Kowloon. It's definitely worth the extra for a harbour view room - the view of the Hong Kong...

Grand, imposing lobby. Professional staff with good English. Good location with views across to Hong Kong island. Extensive breakfast buffet. Swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna. Aggressively air conditioned! Would stay there again if in Hong Kong.

This is a great hotel for those travelling with young children. It is very clean, well maintained with a swimmng pool, and very children friendly - no tutting of children running around - esp as it houses a local kindergarden on one of the floors. The central location is unbeatable, literally minutes from the MTR and close to all the...

Right on the harbour, 2 seconds away from Tsim Sha Tsui metro line, right off Nathan Road. its literally right where you want to be if you want to be in amongst the action in Hong Kong. There is a million...

Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights coming from a business trip in China. The rooms are a bit smaller than the usual big Hong Kong hotels such as Marco Polo and Sheraton. It is clean and the beds are comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. What is small is the bathroom but was kept clean and...

I have stayed here a few times now because of the location, just can't be beaten for convenience and price. Whenever I'm with my whole family, we usually stay in this hotel and we book the family suite. The suite is equipped with a king-sized bed, a sofa bed and a crib (if you request for one). The size of the room is adequate and it is relatively clean. The location is really good...practically all the places to see around...

The main advantage of this hotel - its location! Practically on the shore of bays Victoria to Star Ferry - a few minutes walk away. Just an alley close to movie stars of Hong Kong, a monument to Bruce Lee, the museum space across the street from the hotel. I advise you to cross on the ferry from Kowloon to...
