Ample staff during check in made it smooth despite she did not explain much eg. facilities closure.
The rooms were newly decorated unlike the yellowish centrium, I appreciate the modern and cleanliness of the room and the 2 sided windows from bedroom to bathroom. The TV in front of the tub was the absolute winner!
The dinner package at Soleil was very good, $1374 including dinner for 2 with 3 courses and table pre-booked at a nicer view. I was surprised they even had mielle fuelle to close dinner. Service was attentive.
We ordered a top up lunch set the next day and it was very reasonable too! Good food all in all.

There were lots of hotel promotions recently. We booked a deluxe suite at a discounted price of around HK$1600 with breakfast included. There were lots of people at check in on g/f but we could have gone checked in directly at 12/f and saved the 20 minutes of queuing up because we were staying in the suite. Too bad that when i booked the hotel, the staff told me to queue up at the reception on g/f.
The harbour view from the living room and the bedroom was spectacular. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with bath tub and the water pressure was good. However, there was no window in the bathroom and it smells a bit damp.
We were able to use the lounge at 12/f. The lounge was peaceful and we could relax there. The food provided during tea and cocktail time was good as expected and refillable. It includes the famous napoleon cake and butterfly pastries. The female staff at 12/f were very gentle and polite.
Breakfast could be served at the greenery, 12/f lounge or in the room. Due to the covid pandermic, only sets (continental, chinese, japanese and american) were available but not buffet. We ordered the American style breakfast which was plentiful and tasty. You could choose three types of bread to serve with the breakfast. We were so full and didn’t have lunch afterwards. The preparation time is about 45 minutes. The person taking the orders could be more gentle.
We were allowed to check out late at 1pm. Overall the experience was quite good and the food provided was nice. Sky tower suite (newly refurbished, more expensive) and staycation with dinner at sabatini recommended.
The comments above only applies during Covid pandermic when there are no guests from the Mainland of China.

Initially I reserve one-night staycation package with dinner buffet to celebrate my son’s birthday. Connie Wong of reservation department, was really attentive, patient and professional to introduce staycation packages in detail. Because of her good quality of service, I decided to reserve additional 2 nights package with breakfast and late lunch buffet. Since my family member is disabled using wheelchair, it is more convenience using catering service at the hotel. We very appreciate the arrangement for my disabled family member from Joey of Greenery. She showed initiative to assign designed table for us to facilitate the wheelchair and will not disturb other guests. She is very nice and caring. Really, we would like to thank you to Connie Wong of reservation department and Joey of Greenery as well as her colleagues. I have written my feedback to the hotel directly and hope that they could make improvement on the front desk service. I have received their prompt response from Ivan Chiang, Duty Manager, within half an hour through email and phone. He sent apologies, promised to look into the matter and will improve the front desk service in coming future. I very appreciate his prompt response and is very patient to listen our bitter experience on front desk. On the whole, my family and I really enjoy this staycation at Royal Garden Hotel. We will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends, colleagues and relatives and have decided to plan our next vacation at this hotel because the excellent quality of service from their reservation department, catering and housekeeping.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a staycation during COVID. They made me feel completely relaxed, were unbelievably attentive and didn’t make a single error whatsoever from booking to check-out. Not only was their service flawless they were also well-spoken and genuinely polite at all times. Their set menus were carefully thought out and delicious. I would highly recommend the royal garden (incl. over the Kowloon Shangrila which I also like very much.) In particular the entry level suites with lounge access on 12th floor are well worth the extra money.

We would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care we received at The Royal Garden from 21 - 22 July 2020. This is our second visit in this hotel, your staff did not disappoint us.
Front desk staff arrange a nice harbour view guest room and recommend Forbes Stars Restaurant Takeaway Mealbox service, This is a set dinner meal with four different choices in promotion price. Also, We can enjoy a special price on Butterfly Cookies. Dining service of Breakfast, Mealbox service, Room service and Dessert are delicious, which we thoroughly appreciated. Staying in The Royal Garden actually enhanced our vacation experience.
We had a wonderful vacation, and I have recommended The Royal Garden to all of my colleagues, business partners, friends and family. Thank you again for such outstanding service.

The first thing to say about HK is that it is VERY expensive to eat and drink. And they still smoke in bars and restaurants. It’s difficult to judge the hotel as we arrived in the midst of the coronavirus and as such visitor numbers are down 90% so the hotel and HK are very quiet and it feels a bit odd. The hotel was soulless and our room (we were upgraded apparently) was pretty small with a shower in the bath with a shower curtain (a bit 20th century). Nothing wrong with the hotel and it is in a great location with a short walk to bars and restaurants and the waterfront and a 20 minute stroll to Star Ferries if you don’t fancy the MTR.

Ok thank you.
The nearest MTR is East TST. It haS an entrance about 200m from the hotel. However there is a fair bit of walking within the MTR stations.
The hotel is linked to the hotel airport shuttle which leaves the airport every 30 mins. THe bus stops at all the Hotels in the area and I think you need to book it in advance.
I used the airport express and a taxi. Taxis are quite cheap in Hong Kong
