It’s a good hotel, certainly for Hong Kong standard and its price. When I arrived I noticed that the duvet was old, washed too may times and completely bumpy. I asked for room service. I couldn’t get the message across but the maid helped me with a sheet between the duvet and the mattress which made it comfortable. Staff are... More

We were unlucky and travelled during the expensive season. Nathan was one of the best options available, but definitely not what we paid for. Staff are nice and accomodating, and the location is very good. We arrived in the middle of a Typhoon so it was rainy. Not sure if that´s why the room was humid and smelled so bad,... More

Decided on this hotel given its central location and decent reviews. There will be some who prefer to stay on the island, but given the price, 10 minute walk to the MRT, we had no real complaints. We were upgraded to a 3-bed room and that was welcomed. Our room was at the back and the window faced another building... More

Centrally located. Quiet even though in the heart of hong kong. Staff friendly. Renovations are being under taken there. When complete will be modern and tastful. The room we stayed was sufficent for a 2 night stay. Though dates in decor and room attires. Reaturant fabulous breakfast. Fresh food and nice wait staff.

Well situated in what is probably the middle of Nathan Road the main through fare across Kowloon – handy for the Airport Flyer which stops almost outside and if you have a lot of baggage to carry – as this was a two night stopover we had booked a less expensive Superior room with a double bed – not a... Very convenience area which the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Bed are super comfortable. There are a lot of good food around the area. Temple street is around the corner and one if the hk authentic restaurant is just behind it.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
