Nathan Hotel is in a great location. The room was extra large for Hong Kong and updated. Internet speed was excellent and the staff was very responsive to all my needs. Although my room was on the third floor facing a busy street, I never heard traffic. The wall of windows gave the room a very bright feeling as well. I look forward to staying at Nathan my next visit. The quality, size and price made for an excellent stay in Hong Kong.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate my request. The room assigned was not up to my expectations, especially the bathroom. However, the front desk manager - Yuki and the Housekeeping manager went the extra mile to clean the bathroom and tidy-up to my standards and expectations. I greatly appreciate their efforts and diligence in accommodating my request. They should be complimented for their extra hard work. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient as it is closed to MTR station. Also, there are tons of restaurants nearby who are willing to deliver food to hotel. It made our stay extremely pleasant.
Beautiful hotel, nice amenities, and clean. Lots of local restaurants within walking distance. The staff was super friendly and helpful. If it's your thing there is a Starbucks attached to it as well.
Generally the hotel staff is super friendly. Also the location is really convinience. Good services and really clean room with extremely comfortable bed. Would highly recommend all my friends to stay here
The Nathan Hotel has always been my go-to place to stay when I am visiting Hong Kong. Indeed, I have stayed there on all six of my trips to the city over the last 23 years. The location, value, accommodations, and especially the staff are never less than first rate.
The Nathan is my go-to hotel to stay when I visit Hong Kong. It is in a convenient location, near the Jordan substation (about 2 blocks) and the Yau Mei Tei station (3-4 blocks), across Nathan Road from the Temple Street Night Market, has a Starbucks downstairs. There is a rooftop bar and a basement bar. The breakfast is good. The Wifi is fast and reliable. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and the price is usually reasonable. The gym is small, but decent. The only negative is that the elevator can be slow when its very busy.
Booked this hotel kinda last minute,as my husband could no longer make the trip.Good location with Jordan train-station nearby,Starbucks part of the building and 7 eleven basically next door.Traveling with children. The hotel is family friendly. The room was Nathan smart twin.Ample space for your luggage.Tv and en-suite,plus also safe deposit. Two free bottles of water daily. Also has tea, coffee, kettle in room. Rooms seem renovated but the hotel it self is old.Breakfast buffet was ok with selection of Chinese cuisine, bacon, fruit, toast and egg station. The check in was really smooth with very friendly reception and good English.Check out was also a breeze.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
This hotel is one of the hotels my family and I would stay whenever we travel to Hong Kong. We have been there more than 20 times now and it feels really like home. The service staff are always enthusiastic and helpful. The rooms are big (for HK standard) and the location is pretty central in Kowloon. It is easy to get around and many taxi drivers will know of this hotel. There is a 7-11 on the same street which makes it really convenient. The hotel might be old, however they have been upgrading consistently. The rooms are clean and the amenities inside are decent.
The place is a little tight. There is a long line to get an elevator to go up to our reservation. But the location is very eccentric to everything train, place to eat and walking distance to the Avenue of the Stars.
We are a family of four and we were browsing through all the family rooms that are available in HK and we found the family room in Nathan Hotel suited our needs the best. And we were not disappointed. Unfortunately we visited in the week where the unrest was at its worst. We travelled from Disneyland Hotel to Nathan Hotel. The taxi driver was a little reluctant to take us into Kowloon but he did eventually. The hotel is on Nathan Road, in Jordan area in between Yau Ma Tei and Tsim Sha Tsui. In my opinion generally it is a very good area in terms of transportation with buses and MTR but unfortunately during our week of stay the protests and unrest hindered all our travel plans. We had to take taxi or walk mostly that week. We stayed in Nathan Hotels family room. It can cater for six with 2 double beds and 2 single bunk beds over the top of the double beds. There are mini tvs in each of the bunk bed areas. The room was neat and nicely furnished. Very clean also. It has 2 dehumidifiers in there too which is a good touch as the shower can create a bit of moisture in the room. The room is very spacious and well lit with many many lights in different parts of the room. Our kids loved the bunk beds. We had breakfasts included in our room deal. The buffet breakfasts were great with subtle changes to the food each day. It had an egg making station and also a pancake machine which made pancakes when asked. My kids loved that machine. Food was fine with the usual Western style along with Chinese options. It has plenty of salad and fruit options also. There are plenty of eateries around this hotel. Because we were contained in this area due to the unrest so we are around the hotel a lot. The Astor buffet restaurant next door at the Eaton Hotel is a bit expensive but definitely worth a try. The staff here at the hotel was fantastic. From the door man to the cleaners all very polite and helpful. The cleaners were so quick they can make up our room during the time we had breakfast! The doorman helped us heaps to get us rides to our places despite the difficulties with the protests. Because of the unrest we wanted to cut our stay short by 2 nights and return to Disneyland. Nathan hotel granted our early check out and not charged us for the last 2 booked nights which I thought was very good of them. They could have held their ground as we booked 7 nights but it is very professional of them to not charge us for the unused nights. Thank you Nathan Hotel. Overall if HK settles and return to some sort of normal patterns, our family would no doubt return to Nathan Hotel again. The family room is very unique for HK I doubt you will be able to find one similar at a reasonable price. Thank you Nathan Hotel we really enjoyed our stay here thank you for all your help.…
