A great hotel. One of its kind. The room was small but still it gives you a feel of large room. The facilities were ultra modern and everything was lean and slim. Amazing view of sea and the city. The service is also great. Hyatt as always is good mostly. worth staying. Very modern and sleek.

Awesome views. Luxurious rooms. And the best restaurants within their categories in the City. The absolute best place to stay for Conventions. The traffic is a little congested since it is bounded on one side by a giant construction site and the other side by a very busy cross harbor tunnel. Definitely worth the price of rooms.

My fiancé and I spent three days in Hong Kong before we took a cruise to Australia and stayed at the Grand Hyatt. It is located in a great spot especially if you are doing to hop on and hop off bus. Being from Chicago we were impressed that the hotel supplies you with a smart phone for free, we...

My room had been recently renovated and was stylish, clean and extremely comfortable. A Smart phone was available in the room and to take out with you throughout you in order to have constant wifi pairing/access, make free calls etc wherever you are...really great! Service was exceptional and food beautiful if a little expensive, but probably in line with similar...

If you want a little splurge while in HK this is a gorgeous and lush Art Deco style hotel, even if you just go for a drink. Our room was beautiful and clean with a lovely harbor view - do be aware that there is ongoing construction. That being said, we had a wonderful stay. The room had all the...

The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is a great place but its location is not so great, very near there are road works that last for years already. The hotel itself is very old and around it, there is nothing reachable by walking. Because of the works, it is then noisy and a little dusty. The swimming pool is great and...

The hotel ticks all the boxes I have for a good hotel. Location wise this is situated on the happening part of Hong Kong - Wan Chai. The ferrying to other parts of Hong Kong is only a distance away. The rooms are superb and I got a free 'Handy' phone that I could take along with me while roaming...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
