This is a great hotel Expensive but great. Recently renovated rooms and lounge are nice. Staff speak excellent English and are well trained. Location is not really central being in Wanchai but it makes up for it with a great view of the harbor and Central. Great restaurants. Only complaint is it is EXPENSIVE!

The upgrade to the Club floor and the related rooms is just great. So tasteful. The Club works great, service is top notch, food is fantastic. The decor is beautiful in the rooms, modern but classic. All employees really go the extra mile for you.

Dear kqvick So glad to read that you like the new Grand Club room and Club Lounge. "Modern and classic" is exactly what the designer wants to achieve for the new rooms. New product is great but it is the service that will make a true difference. We value your encouraging note which is a useful reminder to us that...

I am here normally to visit the exhibition and you cannot be better positioned. Rooms and service at the very top standard. A very good selection of restaurants inside to have meetings with suppliers. Lot of sport facility, Tennis, Squash etcetera and if you have time a big swimming pool and relaxing area around. I must come here for pleasure...

The renovations are very nice and this is by far the nicest club level I have seen in a Hyatt. As a Diamond member, I have stayed in many Hyatt's around the world. While the Grand Hyatt Bangkok is nice, it is not in the same league as this hotel in terms of quality of the offerings on the club...

As you would expect from a hotel of this standard everything was as it should be, from the doorman, through checking to the room, as you will see from another review I also eat at the hotel as well. I like that you get a complementary bottle of water, handy to take with you, the best thing was the mobile...

Dear Varney It is wonderful to learn that you appreciate the past and new features of the newly renovated room. The Handy feature is actually trial but it has been so well received by some users. Apparently it does enhance guests' experiences very well. I appreciate you sharing the poolside during the magic hours - a spot very easily missed...

The staff are what make this hotel so very good. All impeccably mannered, courteous and wanting to assist. We had a Club room on the 32nd floor with a magnificent view across the harbour to Kowloon. Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
