The location of the hotel, the staff, the amenities, the food, the décor, the room layout, the view, the free internet connection, the quality of impeccable service all add up to an unforgettable experience. I would j=highly recommend the Grand Hyatt to friends and family and won't hesitate to stay there should I return to Hong Kong.

Chinese domestic airlines are not reliable. Average delays are 108 mins. (China Daily, 9.9.2015). You'd have thought a large travel agent would know this. Key Travel didn't. So, when my first flight was cancelled and my second delayed by 90 minutes, I'd been up for hours and still at Shanghai airport, finally taking off at 1 by which time I'd... More

This is a true gem of a hotel, nothing is too much trouble for the attentive staff at the Grand Hyatt. Rooms had amazing views and smart phone you are free to take with you during your stay which even includes free calls to the UK! A lovely touch.

I spent five nights in the Grand Hyatt and enjoyed it a lot. I had a remodeled room on the 18 floor with kingsize bed and nice harbour view. The room is spacious with a nice shower and a bathtub. The hotel pool is between buildings and with the heat you do not mind having some shade. The gym is... More

Lovely grand hotel with the kind of service that you would expect from this type of hotel. Staff were very efficient and attentive and did whatever they could to assist me to enjoy my stay. Room service (although typically expensive) was of a good qualify and the service was friendly and efficient.

As expected of a property under this chain, the overall service levels at this hotel was second to none. Always felt the Hyatt touch everywhere I turned and the room itself was what i expected nothing less so all in all it was a delightful stay and I will return for sure given the chance.

This hotel is opulent but not over the top. Its not one for the budget conscience but a special occasion would be worth it. Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
