This is my second visit to this hotel. Staff are excellent. View is great. In the center of it all. Restaurant food is superb. And the hotel buffet and breakfast are amazing. Nice bar with live music. Would recommend it highly.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We stayed here recently during a trip to Hong Kong and Vietnam and the Grand Hyatt was superb. We had a huge room with a glorious view over the harbour towards Tsim Sha Tsui. Unfortunately the weather was average, but even that didn't detract from our stay. Every little thing has been thought of at this hotel including a 'mobile'...

We stayed as part of a business trip and shared rooms due to the price. However, the business floor is great and they served Ruinart in the lounge which was amazing if you love Champagne. The food in the lounge was also very good. I like the rooms and they are very quiet. The location is good and the views...

So, this was not a cheap night in a hotel, but boy was it impressive. We landed in HK overnight from EU and to ease things had ordered limo to collect us ($100+). Also, as we had travelled all night we pre-asked hotel for early check-in (at 10am so we could sleep for a few hours). The service was excellent....

I have stayed with family at this property multiple times over the past few years, including a couple of stays for New Year's Eve as the property has great harbour views. The Diamond breakfast offerings (Diamonds could choose between club floor or restaurant for complimentary breakfast) were excellent as usual. Rooms were nicely renovated and clean as usual. What differentiated...

Without doubt one of the best hotels I have visited. From the moment you walk into the stunning foyer you are treated like a King. I could not find fault with anything from the rooms to the breakfast and all round service. Congratulations to all involved, simply outstanding.

I enjoyed the hotel, the service provided and the clean large comfortable rooms. The pool was nice too. Although they cant change this, the hotel is really far from public transportation relative to other hotels in hong kong and kowloon. You're easily walking 10-15 minutes each way to get to the nearest MRT station - wan Chai. I liked the...

I love staying at the Grand Hyatt. The rooms are beautiful with stunning views. The club has a great array for breakfast and cocktail hour, probably one of the best I have seen at the Hyatts around the world. All staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
