The hotel is situated in a central area, 5 minutes walk to Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The service is good, breakfast is mixed European & Asian. The rooms that are not on the executive floors need upgrade - the furniture has to be refurbished or replaced.

I needed a convenient hotel this time around, and found a great deal at Agoda. For the location and room standard, no complaints. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive and atmosphere of the property relaxed. Some 4 and 5 stars try and be too snooty sometimes and so comes with it too serious and stiff and non-helpful staff. Like...

We stayed in two rooms and was sadly placed on smoking floors. There are only two non-smoking floors in the hotel, even if you request a non-smoking its rare to get one. The room is very small, one or two people maximum. The bathrooms in both rooms were very different. One was extremely new and modern while the other was...

The location is great for people attending trade fairs at the HKCEC, only a 5 minute walk. But also close to the MTR, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good, the internet was quick and easy to connect and has a number of bars which is also good for a drink after a long day walking the fair. The only downside...

The Hotel is located close enough to the HK Airport Transit station and has free shuttle bus ( H1). The location on Lockhart Rd ensures that is plenty of options for teh evening with bars and restaurants. The Rooms are well appointed and although not large , enough space considering the location. Breakfast on 1st Floor is fine and worth...

We booked this hotel because its location is convenient for our transferring - we went abroad during National Day holidays and got back via Hong Kong; then we went back to Mainland China the next day. It is located in Lockhart Road where there are full of bars, pubs and restaurants. You can get off at Lockhart Road Stop by...

This hotel shouts of perfect location when it comes to BARS, Restaurants, and fun fun fun all night long!! The hotel is in the very heart of it all. The hotel is located along Lockhart Road and the street (side by side) is filled with bars and restaurants! So if you want real fun (I mean REAL fun -- including...

Located in busy Wan Chai district. Close to metro station and maybe 10 -15min walk to Wan Chai Star Ferry station. Close to bars and restaurants. Check in and check out process was very smooth even though there were a lot of people to check in. Room was quite small and a bit outdated but clean. As it was booked...

Tthse day.he facade and lobby appear to be nice, but look a little closer and the cracks begin to appear. The rooms are small and very basic; beds as uncomfortable as what I have cme across in China which means poor sleep. This hotel was chosen by my work for its proximity to an agent I had to see. I...

I did not book this hotel myself. It was done by a business partner who had not been at this hotel either. The location suited us good since we visited a clinic close by. However the rooms were very small, the bed was like a rock and the breakfast was just so so. The area is ok during day time...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
