Good Hotel for business as well as family. Located in Wan Chai, 5 mins walk from the subway and has great number of bars and restaurants surrounding it. Service standards are good, rooms are Good, bathrooms could be more modern. Tea maker, newspaper and water bottles on the house. No breakfast in-house but enough all over the place best being Flying...

We spent a few days in HK recently and stayed at the Wharney. Location is great but the room is really small. Bathroom can be a problem if you're really tall. Ideal if you're going to spend most of your time outside and just need a basic room for sleeping. Lots of restaurants near by.

Not a hotel I would normally stay in, but my friend was staying there. Paid very slightly more for exec room, which was old but large for a HK hotel. Same price elsewhere would give you a smaller room. Location is decent to walk to convention center and near the train station. Other hotels are nearer convention center but further...

Rooms have everything you need, including tea making facilities. Comfy bed. Rooms do need an overhaul as looking a bit shabby. Good location near the tube station and near lots of bars and restaurants. Has a fridge and safe.

The rooms are nothing like shown on the website I was in a executive room it was so run down for which I was paying USD168. The breakfast has no variety and is missing even the basic things. Overall very bad! If you want to stay in wanchai! Better try other places cause this is definitely not worth spending money...

Near to wan chai metrostop. Hotel was Ok, but rating 4 stars, Don't think so. Our room was in 12 floor (streetside). Everything was Ok, but we have been better accomodations with less stars than this one. We booked room with twinbed, web we arrived there was 2 singlebeds? Beds, pillows and blanket was very comfort and warm 👍 Staff...

The room is small but adequate to fit a chair n table. The bed is quite comfortable with 2 spare pillows available .Location is very close to shops n food. MTR station is just down the road. Over all a good place to stay for short vacation.

Picked up at the street as soon as the taxi stopped. Check in could have been faster. Seemed they were busy doing a lot else than making sure I got a good start. But nevertheless I got my room and while I was serviced another guy made sure to lock my luggage even it's inside the lobby. Room a bit...

The rooms were clean and modern looking. There were no problems and very comfortable. The location was right in heart of Wan Chai, easy walks to the shops, street vendors, wet market, etc. The location was kind of in the bar district, but still very safe and not threatening at all.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
