This hotel is very well located in Hong Kong island, very close to everything plus close to where locals live. The facilities are very small, however everything there is small. Very clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is very basic but very complete.

very good view in 37floor/ mountain view and city view. and comfortable rocation near shungwan station, 7eleven, starbucks , mcdonald, subway(sandwitch) 매우 친절하고 좋았지만 어메니티가 별로였고 화장실이불투명하여 민망하였습니다ㅠㅜ 소리가 다들림.... 침대도 그렇게 편안하진 않은것같아요

Fresh hotel with good location on HongKong island in a small street. You get 2 small bottle free water in room and two cans of oranges juice when check in. I spend an award night there and got free breakfast(which I missed due to early fly). There is free shuttle bus by the corner outside the hotel to Hong Kong...

Modern amenities. Water bottles replaced every day. TV with English stations as well as international language stations. Breakfast is amazing! They have so much food hot food!!! Just thinking about it now makes me hungry. The beds are pretty comfortable too. The shower is a bit weird as it's all frosted glass. Because of this I would recommend not turning...

During Chinese New Year, this hotel, like most of the others, increases its prices. However, its location is excellent, within walking distance of the Macau ferry and a post office, close to an MTR station, and surrounded by good restaurants. The breakfast might not be the greatest, but it is adequate, and if it is served on the 38th floor,...

Dear soha411, Thank you for choosing Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Soho and also for taking the time to share your stay experience with us. It is great to hear you were impressed with the hotel’s location and the surrounding neighborhood. However, it seems that we were not able to address your expectation including some hardware design. We have taken...

Great location and I would use it again except for two major issues. There are only three elevators and 38 floors meaning you wait ages and spend you time in a completely rammed elevator when you get one. The always seem to all be at the bottom or the top when you are at the opposite location - there appears...

This hotel is in a great location, less than 3 short blocks from the Sheung Wan MTR station...Exit A2. The rooms are not huge, but are comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room/bathroom design was nice for this level of hotel. I have stayed in many HI Express, and in many other HK hotels, but I will return...

The hotel is in a very good location. You could go there via the free shuttle from HK station (stop from the Airport Express Train). The nearest mtr station is Sheung Wan which is a 5-minute walk away. There a lot of restaurants around the hotel block serving local, Asian and Western food that one could choose from. The hotel...

Nice hotel, nice linens but the hardest bed I've ever slept on. Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff. If I come back I'll book a hotel on Kowloon because that's where we spent all of our time while here.

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
