Appeared newly renovated and has very cool Decor, in both room and common areas. Has all the essentials and good conditions for an "no fuss Hop-in Hop-out" overnight or two. We had a bunk bead with an en-suite bathroom, all very nicely laid out and well maintained/clean. Bed linen and towels were lovely and of very good quality. I'd say... More

We stayed in this place last Nov. 2012. We opted to stay here because of it's price and reviews not to mention its location. The room was small which is typical and was decorated nicely. There was free water which we use for our noodles. Aside from that, we were able to avail of discounted Disneyland and Ocean Park tickets.... More

Friendly staff, good location close to the MTR. Stayed in a six bed female dorm. Towels payable, padlocks needed. Room was clean, duvet and bed comfortable, lights and sockets to each end. Drilling outside at 09:30 ish weekdays but location and faculties make up for this. Visit the passion cafe located just near the lifts. Would stay at this hostel... More

The hotel has an amazing location right in the center of Kowloon and few steps to the TST MTR and the bus stop from/to the airport! The rooms are super nicely decorated, with a private bathroom very clean and with all the nevessary! The bed is comfortable, clean and new! Wifi works perfectly everywhere. There is also a tv with... My 3rd time for Hop Inn Carnarvon. Everything is OK as I had written in my previous reviews. Convenient location, smooth free wifi, hipster-style decoration (with some cracks on the wall though), friendly staff, 7-11 besides the building. Anyway, I have experienced two disadvantages. First, the elevator has a problem during my stay. Guests have to walk from 8th to... More

Our sincere gratitude for your continuous support. The elevator has been fixed now, so guests may go to the 9/F (our private floor) directly without passing through the 8/F. My apology about the noises from other guests at night during your stay. We operates a 24-hours reception & enforce quiet policy after 11pm. Guests are welcomed to report any noise... More

It was my first time to travel solo and I chose to stay here because of the good reviews. Each room has a unique design/theme. I didn't get the room that I wanted, but I still loved this place nonetheless. I wished they offered free breakfast! Haha!

The man who welcomed me was very pleasant and took his time to explain where to get a bite to eat. The bathrooms are co-ed dorm style, which it's been a while since I've been in one. I was reminded when a man walked in and I was half naked ! Anyhow, shower is very big. But the sink in... More

I highly recommend this hostel, because #1. Cleanliness #2. Convenient location #3. Free wifi & #4. Free unlimited drinking water. For a hostel in Hong Kong, I find this place quite decent, each room has it's own bathroom, with clean white towels & shampoo/body wash are provided. Beddings are clean & white too. All the basics are in the room,... More

My boyfriend and I visited Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong for 5 days and had booked a one night stay online at another backpacker. Upon seeing the building in which this particular backpacker was, we turned around immediately without continuing to the designated floor. It was smelly, filthy and there was too much traffic due to all the small stores... More
