My friend book this hotel package to celebrate my birthday with me and it was awesome! There are several things i would like to highlight and recommend friends to stay here for a vacation as travellers or staycation as locals like us. First of all, while entering this building with the red front door closed behind, it already gave me an impression on entering a world which is kept away from the busy and noisy street around. This is really good start for us because we were planned to do a staycation in HK for a weekend to relax. The whole building noise control really well and all the decoration and design are bringing everyone inside to a sense of art and back to earlier 90s feeling. Secondly, the staff were extremely helpful and polite. They helped my friend to give me a surprise at hotel room with birthday cake on candle and delivered by them within 5mins after i arrived. The warm and friendly attitude every time we met them inside the building made me quite enjoy the stay And comfortable. Our room also being upgraded with extra tea set gifted to be enjoyed in their tea / coffee workshop. We were feeling like VIPs during our stay there. Thirdly, our package include a 24hour pass to their different facilities and workshops. The workshops all have their owner and personal stories which we would feel the dreams of different artists. These gave us time to slow down and express our stress through drawing/ experience on making aroma bag or just simply enjoy some special coffee cocktails on their bar which would view the surrounding area/ sunset at higher level. Fourthly, their room is very clean and tidy with all necessities you need for a night. Clean And hygiene is the part i concern most during a stay in hotel and this part i was really satisfied no matter in room nor in common area / toilet.…
The location just off Nathan Road is very convenient and close to many shops and restaurants. We found the hotel charming and unique. Everything is absolutely clean and the room is quiet even though we are located in a busy shopping area. The staff are excellent. Jimmy was so friendly and helpful. He ordered a taxi and came down with us to street level in order to locate the taxi and to ensure that the driver understood where we wished to go. We are thankful for that because this is Hong Kong and we would have trouble finding the taxi ourselves (it was not possible to park in front of the hotel). We had a twin room and while it was fine for us, it could be a little cramped for people with a lot of luggage.
I haven't been staying in HK for the past few years as my trips are mainly in Shenzhen. So this time i took the risk to stay in HK even there are rumors of protests in the city. The hotel price is just irresistibly low so i took a bet and found this Gem in Yau Ma Tei. LOCATION Smack right between Portland Road and the main street, Nathan Road. The entrance to hotel is just beside A1 exit of the MTR Yau Ma Tei. Nearby littered with food and 7-11s, so no worries for there are many options for food and drinks. The main reason why I choose this hotel is because 1) There is a nearby pick-up and drop off for the coaches heading to Shenzhen (Eternal East Bus) 2) There is a bus stop just beside on Nathan Road, A21 bus directly to the Airport ROOM I chose the music room (11m2) so there is no attached TV. Small room but still acceptable, if you have more luggage then perhaps this room type will not be suitable for you. Choose other room types instead. VIEW The view as per my photo, nice! just that there are not enough room for a small table and a chair else it could be just PERFECT. BREAKFAST & DINNING Didn't have meals in Hotel. There are abundance of food around. go Explore! EXPERIENCE Overall, I am pleased with my stay. Quiet rest and access to many options around the hotel plus the transport options were just great. How to complain? right? I will consider to stay with them again when I am back in HK of cos if the price is really affordable as well. COMPLAINS and COMMENTS Nothing much to complain.…
It's a great location. Even though Exit A was closed, it's still easy to get to with Exit B2. (Go to the top of the steps, that's Portland, go right to the end of the block, turn right onto the street that doesn't go through, and it's on the right. Enter the big red doors.) It's a half block from Nathan so shopping and eating galore. The staff was fabulous, starting with the greeting at the door. We were assisted and aided to floor 5 for check-in, where they were helpful and efficient. Check out the rooftop bar. Nice atmosphere. There are only 4 rooms per floor. The second night I heard voices in the hallway, but absolutely nothing through the wall. We had the corner room with windows on two sides. A bit quirky in design, which was a great atmosphere. The room had an iPad, closet space (not enclosed), nightstands on each side, and an assortment of lights. It's a Hong Kong hotel, meaning rooms are not huge (you must pay for a luxury hotel if you want lots of space, or get a not-so-desirable place), but it was sufficient. The shower head was adjustable and the "mist" setting is quite relaxing. Quality toiletries. (Having a hair dryer in the room would have been nice, though.) It was new, clean, friendly (everyone in any position was wonderful); it was an enjoyable stay.…
I travelled with my mother and we had one of the twin rooms, which was perfect for our stay. The room was a little on the small side but we are both very petite so it was fine for us! We loved how cosy it was, and thought it was tastefully decorated throughout. Everything was exceptionally clean, service was impeccable and you can’t beat the location - one of the main entrances/exits from Yau Ma Tei underground station is just by the front door! I would definitely stay here again and would advise it’s best suited for smaller groups of travellers, couples or for solo travellers.
