This is by far the smallest room i ever slept . Single room as big as double bed ..... Guesthouse was not easy to find , well hidden in an "indian" shopping mall . But would def. stay there again because of these 3 words : location + price + cleanliness. And brother and sister running the spot were friendly...

The hotel is managed by a helpful lady who really takes care of all the guests. The rooms are small as are all the other options in Hong Kong in budget category. The hotel is on the main road situated in a shopping complex and ideal for solo/male travellers. Not the best option for couples though.

We arrived at 10:30 in the evening and the owner is there. She said that my card was invalid because she tried to claim the "No Show" fee (we sent an email when we arrived at the airport at 8:30). She offers another room because according to her, our room is small and add 150hkd. Me: Just give us the...

This is my first time that a good reviewed place on tripadvisor let me down. I am not racist but the area this place is located is really dodgy full of Indians and other foreigners, most of which are constantly offering services and goods, especially at night. Access to this place is horrible with a single small slow lift used...

For those of you looking for a lavish and luxurious stay in one of the most expensive cities in the world, turn back now. None of Chungking Mansion's guesthouses will be for you. For those of you who, like me, want a COMFORTABLE, CLEAN place in a GREAT location, to sleep and get ready for a day of adventures in...

Do not be fooled by the photos. terribly small room similar to a dog's cage. We've been walking for almost an hour asking for directions, to be honest the building doesn't look like a hotel. It is a retail/commercial building, there were heaps of market stalls predominantly Indian products at the ground floor. You wouldn't expect a motel/hotel in that...

I loved our stay at this hostel. The entrance of the Chunking Mansions may seem a bit sketchy, but I didn’t feel unsafe. People there were very nice, yes, they tried to sell you stuff, but I gave them a polite denial and they left me alone. So, do not get discouraged by the looks pf it or about what...

Didn't even need earplugs!!! Staff is really friendly too and helpful with arranging things! To get there; if you get out of the bus walk back from the...

“When you get into chungking mansion, get in, don't stop for the people trying to sell you stuff in front, have the number of the elevator and the floor memorized, find the right elevator, watch out, for each section (A, B, C...) you get 2 elevators going to odd and even floors. If you're not to hig up, you can take the stairs.... sometimes the elevators are slow, and full, you might have to wait a while.”
