This is the third time I stayed in Keyuan hotel. The rooms I had there are nice and spacious, with two beds and a bathroom with bath and shower. The hotel is situated next to Chongqing University (campus B), accommodated on the 12-18th floor of a building with various companies, including restaurants. Its reception desk is on the ground floor.
The hotel itself has no special facilities, but its breakfast space is great since they moved it to the 19th floor, with a wide view over the surrounding urban landscape. Breakfast itself could be better. Very fat and little to offer for vegetarians like myself.
Keyuan is situated at a lively shopping street in Shapingba (still genuinely Chinese), not far away from campus A. At both campuses there are good opportunities to do sports.

There is absolutely no reason for a tourist to go into this hotel. The rooms are old and smelly. The staff do not speak a word english. Breakfast is not worth to mention. Wifi is working very poorly. There are a lot of other hotels with better value for your money!
