It is close to Tiananmen square walking distance. But the hotel itself is not great, little old and carpets not very clean and dunggy. There is a small restaurant in front of hotel in case you don;t want to go far after coming back to room. But there are many other restaurants walking distance from Hotel. We didn't use the...

If you get a room online, they stick you in the basement. We specifically asked not to be in the basement but they wouldn't accommodate without additional funds. The only window in the room was about 12 inches tall approximately 9 feet up the wall. You enter enter the basement through a half door. You literally need to turn sideways...

My third stay at Days Inn Forbidden City, which is brilliantly located close to The Forbidden City, and a 5 minute walk to Wangfujing. It is also 5 minutes from the subway, and has easy buses to the Temple of Heaven and Hou Hai outside the door. For $A75 per night it's great value and a real find! Our room...

So first off, is this the cleanest hotel around? No. But this is a BUDGET hotel so if you are looking for a pristine hotel, you're looking in the wrong area. I still found everything from the breakfast to the rooms to the lobby to be very good overall and the room had everything I needed. The water was hot....

We reached the hotel at around 9PM and had already booked through booking.com. unfortunately for us we had booked the correct date....but the wrong month. We had booked 22nd of February instead of 22nd of March. Anyways we asked the lady manager to book us a room for the current date. The lady offered us a suite at 3 times...

Not the hotel you would choose for your honeymoon but if you want an inexpensive place to rest your head that is close to many of Beijing's attractions then this can work. Only a few minutes walk from the subway, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, so access is good.

Booked this hotel, fortunately for only one night. My room carpet was so dirty that I wore slippers the whole time, even in the shower as it was so disgusting. Everything was mouldy, wallpaper was peeling everywhere. My room and the entire floor I was on smelt disgusting, stale. I woke up with a horrible taste in my mouth several...

The hotel isn't that bad but nothing special. If you trying to save a buck, looking for location, and really just need a place to shower and sleep this one is for you. Easy check-in and check-out. Although a deposit will be requested at check-in ($30US) and returned our check-out. There was always at least one desk clerk able to...

Stayed here for only one night. The location is amazing because its near all of the important tourist attractions. The staff is friendly and the rooms are decent. In canada i would rate this hotel a 3 star. the building are not attached so you have to go outside to get to the lobby.
