Loved my stay there. 2 times over a year. Been special each time. There is fine attention to detail, loved the vast pool, and check out the free hot spring at the basement of the gym/pool. What a treat for the tired soul.

I have now stayed at St Regis Beijing for over a year. Roland Wang is holding the team together really well. I chat with him whenever we run into each other in the lobby. With the Winter Olympics coming up he is under a lot of stress but does not show it. I really think he should be the next general manager.

Had several lengthy stays over the last 12 months and we simply fall in love with the hotel. The hotel is nested among one of Beijing’s embassies zones. It is quiet yet convenient. The Jianguomen tube station on Line 1 & 2 is less than 10 mins walk away. The excellently well-maintained hotel has a touch of old European charm, so classic and elegant. The garden & courtyard is beautifully landscaped and we have seen many wedding ceremonies that took place there. The big surprise is there is a hot spring in the spa area below the gym room. It comprises of 3 different temperature baths: very hot, hot and cold. It is opened till quite late at night and can be enjoyed by in-house guests for free. Last but not least is the superb exclusive butler service provided by the hotel. A big thank you to Pandora, Chief Butler, and her great team who always greet us with big smiles on our arrival and always have the room perfectly set up according to our preferences/special requests prior to our checking-in. This is our home away from home and we will definitely stay again on our future trips.

This was my second time to stay at The St.Regis Beijing and it was just as good as the first one! I was there for my birthday and was warmly welcomed by the whole Butler team. Special shout out to Pandora who always cared about my stay and made sure that I had a wonderful birthday. I was lucky to be picked for the Evening Champaign ceremony. As a titanium member, we got a great suite upgrade. I will definitely come back whenever I go to beijing

We just finished a 4 night stay at the St Regis, and every aspect of the visit was perfect. The journey started with a warm check in experience. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Every individual we encountered went out of their way to make sure every aspect was perfect. Some notable mentions include the Assistant Head Butler, Dong Peng. He quickly learned our names and took a genuine interest in our experience both inside the hotel and in our travels around the city. In addition, the butlers William Song and Roc Guo were very helpful when I encountered some IT issues with my equipment. They were quick to respond and stayed focused on my issue until it was resolved (and the issue was not a hotel issue, but my own equipment issue.). Another incredible individual was Neil Wang at the Concierge desk. Again, he went out of his way to make sure we had everything organized and needed for any of our journeys outside the hotel. Max in the bar knows his drinks and knows how to provide amazing service. If you have the chance to encounter any of these individuals during your stay, you will be amazed by the level of service they will provide. While I don’t have names, the individuals in the spa, fitness center and amazing restaurant were all again spot on. It became evident that the hands on approach of the GM, Derek Flint is what makes this entire operation work so seamlessly and perfect. This is clearly the hotel you want to consider staying in when in Beijing, based on my experience.

All in all I had the pleasure of staying some 10 nights in the St. Regis over the last few month. After trying out many different hotels in Beijing I was often disappointed with the service level. But the St. Regis is, so far, just exceptional. I need to admit, from the outside the hotel is not very impressive. But once you enter the hotel you will be taken onto the St. Regis journey. From the inside the hotel is very elegant. The rooms are specious, comfortable, super noiseless and often with a great view over the embassy area towards the CCTV Tower. The rooms are not newly renovated but this does not harm in any way my very positive attitude towards this property. The main restaurant with its garden is fantastic. The gym and pool are good. What has impressed me the most ist the caring, anticipating and personal service of the hotel staff. A hotel director, Mr. Derec Flint, who is often greeting hotel guest in front of the breakfast restaurant and in general who is very much hands-on is super refreshing and caring! Big compliment. Mr. Anupam Banerjee is managing the restaurants in an excellent way. On the second day the hotel staff knew about my preferred dishes. I would also like to point out the very good and anticipating service from Daisy.

This is my second time staying at St.regis. Thanks to pandora and her assistant Dong Peng, my room type is upgraded to political suite at the 19th floor. They also give me a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift. The experience is soft and sweet like coming back home. First, there's a huge living room and a soft sofa, which can even hold a small party. The bed is large enough for two people, and there're different kind of choices for pillow. The bathtub is also very deep and comfortable. During the happy hour, we try different desserts and the special cocktail Bloody Mary, which differs from every St.regis and tastes good. Second, there's a hot spring from 1500 meters' depth, which is healthy for body. The swimming pool is next to the garden and has a good view in the afternoon. All the staff are kind and nice. Third, we try the celestial court at the second floor. It's a famous Cantonese restaurant in Beijing. They have excellent chefs and use fresh ingredients. The celestial court opens from Monday to Saturday. There're many Marriott hotels in Beijing, but my favorite one is St.regis. It makes me feel warm and comfortable. I'm looking forward to trying St.regis again.

My stay at St Regis Beijing was for one night only, but the experiences acquired and history learned was more than I could have hoped for. Starting with an amazing butler service that is headed by Pandora. Pandora made sure I am, not only comfortable, but also taken care of by her and her whole team. From taking me throughout the property, showing me around, to amenities in the room to amazing conversations to inviting me to Sabrage (champagne opening ceremony at St Regis) ceremony as a person opening champagne for other guests. The whole team made sure I am very familiar with the task at hand (thank you Pandora, Derek and Stanley) and that i feel encouraged to pop open the bottle. It was an amazing experience. Aside from that, Collen (part of Pandora's team), who is heading business center, was amazing conversationalist where we talked about the history of the city as well as the local culture. Luckily, as a Marriott Ambassador member, I got late checkout privilege and I must say I savored every moment in the hotel to the fullest. From amazing facilities to great location to an outstanding team, I really felt at home in the house of Astor. I am most definitely planning to go back again next time I am in Beijing.

First, the post-COVID service adjustments: - No more 5-7pm happy hour at the Press Club bar. We were the only guests at 6pm on a weekend evening. - Member drinks 6-7pm is at the business center on the 18th floor. Open to all Bonvoy members staying in any rooms who are Platinum and above. Free flow wine/beer and selected cocktails. - The champagne ceremony is held at the lobby bar on selected days only at 6pm. Mumm champagne served to any guests watching the ceremony. The fun spectacle was sadly lost to the rest of the crowd who were too preoccupied on their devices. The upgrade to the roomy Diplomat room (similar to a junior suite in other hotels) is much appreciated. As shared by the other reviewers, the decor is a step back in time with the full desk, a full sofa and a lovely Japanese toilet. The changing rooms with the hot spring pools involves a long walk to the next building. Please consider if it is appropriate to waddle through the hotel lobby in a hotel bathrobe/flipflops. Kudos to the staff who are obviously doing their best under the circumstances. Our butler Nina was always smiling at the door when she shows up with my perfectly made cappuccino. The bar manager who was doing his best to rally the crowd at the champagne ceremony ("Free drinks!!!"). It is such a shame to see their positivity was wasted on an unappreciative clientele.
