I am currently staying at the hotel. First of all the hotel is in a good location with a metro station right outside. This is highly convenient. The check in staff are helpful and allowed us to check in despite having mislaid our passports. I am staying on the executive floor in a junior suite. The room is fairly sized...

Our first experience was a MIX UP in communication, when the hotel and our private tour guide both arrived to pick us up at the airport. (Hotel charges WELL ABOVE private tour guide rates). Hotel is well situated, subway less than 50 steps away from front door. We made use of private tour guide - Vivie Pan, who we found...

Despite reviews read, we found it a pleasant and clean hotel but not to the expectation as in Shanghai or Singapore. Location of subway is just opposite the hotel. To and from Airport Express is just a stop away. Airport Express is a hassle. Train fares very reasonable although it can be crowded. However the locals tend to ask commuters...

Stayed in Beijing Swissotel last weekend and were quite disappointed. In May we stayed at the Stamford Swissotel in Singapore, which was great. But somehow i got the feeling Swissotel does not care too much about renovating their hotels. The furniture is very old and considering its a 5 Star hotel, it is really crappy... beds are well worn and...

Right next to a Dongsishitao metro station, which is one stop away from Dongzhimen Station, the terminal for the Airport Express. Taxi ride from the airport costs around US$ 11. Location next to a metro is a godsend during peak travel hours when the wait for a taxi can be very long. Rooms are well maintained for their age. Bathrooms...

Though it is not a 5-star hotel, I would give it 4. Staff at check in were helpful, not everyone could speak English properly though. Room was as per website, a bit dated but comfortable as well as the bathroom. Internet (LAN connection) was against charge which was reasonable though. Breakfast was impressive, huge and good quality; also, they changed...

Really superb property that also above the MTR. So very convenient for any traveller to travel across the beijing city. Staff is very helpful and very kind. And obviously the SWISS MOMO CAFE is at its best to serve the excellent variety of breakfast. And even the bank and small shopping complex is there within the premise. So very easy...

A couple of years ago this Swissotel used to be great value for money - they once had a promotion for about 500 Rmb for a standard room including breakfast. At the moment it is about 822 Rmb for a standard room without breakfast. The Breakfast buffet will set you back about 200 Rmb. That is a lot for a...

This hotel is about 15 min. from the airport with normal traffic which runs you about $20. The metro station (Dongsi Shitiao ) is right outside the entrance of the hotel. they are many good restaurants and shopping places all withing a walking distance. My room was very clean; it had that crispness to it which is a hallmark of...
