My wife and I stayed on the 11th floor of this hotel last week and were not disappointed. It is in a great location very near to the Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City(a few blocks and approximately 10-15 mins. walk). The hotel itself appears more than a few years old but in very good condition. It was clean with a... More

Very nice hotel & friendly. Staffs are very polite and helpful. We had a great time staying at this hotel. But they need to be well expert in English to communicate with international guests. Overall, good arrangement with very small issues.

Couldn't recommend the Capital Hotel in Beijing more highly. Checking in early was NO issue and we were even provided an upgrade. First impressions were of a top class hotel with a very spacious and clean well set out foyer. The room was excellent with a bathroom area alone being almost as big as a flat and containing both a... We stayed here for three nights as we wanted to see a good bit of Beijing and the surrounding area and off course visit the Badaling section of The Great Wall. When we arrived the hotel was very busy as a lot of competitors for the Great Wall Marathon had also booked in to stay. The reception staff were nice... More

and around the corner from Wanfujing Street and the old Legation Quarter. Very professional and friendly staff, all the amenities for business travellers and tourists, well served by the metro and several bus lines. I loved the variety at the breakfast buffet, coffee, tea-western and eastern choices were available and very well prepared. Nice outdoors areas, several shops with traditional... More

We stayed a total of 3 nights, Checked in on the 28th and out the 31 of October. The staff was nice however we were promised a 7am checkin, at 730 the room was not ready so we attempted to have the breakfast buffet. We were denied entry by the restaurant manager, who was mocking foreign guests as we approached.... More

This is a big hotel, well located near Tiananmen Square. It was built as a major convention center and the building is quite large. Rooms were clean and comfortable, for the money you would be hard pressed to find a better value. The breakfast are so-so, though the espresso coffee is excellent. Forget the gym, it looks like it was... More
