Good price and location. But mould in the washroom (really bad smell!) and dirty towels, which was told to the staff, but they didnt care even though they had good english and understood. So in other words the staff was not that service minded and the mould problem, else it was good value for money.

A couple of the worst parts about traveling throughout China are other Chinese tourists and the level of hospitality of Chinese hotels/hostels. This hostel does a good job of balancing these negatives out but the wifi needs a lot of work, even when not needing a vpn. Positives: The staff will warm up to you, once you warm up to...

Stayed in a four bed dorm Positives: Good value for money- Stayed for 7 nights for 50rmb (£5/£6) a night. Bed was comfy. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful in showing me locations in Beijing. Very close to Dongsi metro station (<5min walk). Plenty of hot water in the shower. Friendly staff that doesn't hesitate to help you to make your stay comfortable. I personnaly chose a double room and was not desappointed by The standard. The dinning room allows you to have breakfast, lunch,or diner and make friends among other visitors . The location is not easy to find though.

The hostel is located behind a renovated building and might be hard to find from the main street. It near the Dongsi train station exit E. From exit E you turn right and you will find a building in renovation, enter from the last gate of the building and just walk straight until you find the hostel in your left...

Stayed in a single bed room. Room was nice and clean. Stayed for 2 nights. The place is very close to "Dongsi" metro station line 5&6. Exit E. There is a construction going on in front of the Hotel. So as of now the path to hotel is little difficult to find. I hope the construction will be over soon....

It's not the best hostel that I have stayed in. Small room, a bit dirty, flies in the bathroom, not the best area due to the construction site nextdoor. You hear everything through the walls/corridor. But, hostel and save some money is always nice. So it's OK place to live in for a couple of days.

I love this hostel! The rooms are not very big but they are clean and airconditioned. The only downside is that you have to throw your used toiletpaper in a open wastebin next to the toilet, for a westerner this doesn't seem very hygienic. But that's not the hostels fault. The hostel is very close to the subway (maximum 5...
