When booking the hotel I looked at the price and distance to the subway. I just needed a place to sleep the night. Beijing wasn't my primary destination. 161 gave me a fantastic room for the money I paid. A really superb price/comfort ratio. One of few drawbacks would be the view outside the window, but I think it was...

This was an experience that I really enjoyed. A traditional Chinese style hotel in a small Hutong, it was loaded with charm. The room was basic, but clean with the downside being no safe for your valuables such as cash and passports. The room was leaved each day. The cafe was cosy and attractive with upstairs couches seating and bean...

The hotel is in a good location. The frontdesk staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is very basic and small. The matress is too hard. The bathroom shower is ok. The breakfast is not included in the room rate and it is expensive! If you want a budget hotel go for it.

It's spacious, with facilities like pc on working desk with internet connection, complete toiletries, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, and clean bathroom. Water pressure is stable with hot/cold option. Location is less than 5minutes walking from exit C of Dongsi Stn line 5. Basically if you follow the sign...

We initially booked for 3 nights and then extended for the whole week. The staff are incredible, nothing is a problem and their English is great. We stayed in the double room and then were moved to one of their business rooms. Both were wonderful and super clean. The location couldn't be better. Just a short tube ride to all...

The hotel offers practical, clean rooms, a lovely hot shower en a cosy coffee corner with the best coffee in Beijing. Good value for money. Friendly staff that tries to help you the best way they can.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Both the room and bathroom were clean and spacious and new. The staff was helpful and speaks English, helping us book our train tickets to Xi'an. Wifi connection was good. The hotel is located in a hutong surrounded by eateries patronised by locals, which we loved. Its about 5 minutes...

We had a 6d5n trip to Beijing last week, and booked this hotel after reading reviews from other Chinese forums, and turned out to be a great choice. - strategic location, surrounded by eateries, 4 minutes walk to nearest MRT station (DongSi Stn) - friendly staff - cozy room condition, light and easy - romantically designed rest area - day...

This hotel was brilliant. We have just stayed there for eight nights. The rooms were clean when we arrived, beds comfortable, no English speaking TV but there was a USB connection to the TV so we could watch movies off of our hard drive. Excellent location. Two minute walk from Dongsi metro station and basically in the city centre. There...
