Stayed in this hostel for a week while visiting Beijing. Good location in amongst some cool backstreets (Hutong), although a little far from the subway (15 minute walk). We booked quite late and therefore had to change rooms a few times. We found the 6 bed dorm the best, comfy beds and good air con. The 10 bed dorm was...

The hotel isn't easy to find as it is located in a hutong. The rooms are basic, but everything you need is there: a good bed and a good shower. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Most of them speak English well. Upon request the hotel also serves breakfast (toast with egg, fruit, bacon and fresh orange juice) The...

It seems that the people working at this place do not really care to maintain the hotel. We are really not the kind of people expecting luxury accomodation. However, this place was really worked down. Moreover, approximately 10 employees were hanging around without any duties, occupying the best places to sit in the courtyard, while the place was not clean...

Templeside Deluxe Hutong House Hotel offers spacious rooms in a friendly atmosphere at a reasonable location for an excellent price. This is not a modern Western-style hotel, so if that's what you like, it's probably not for you. But if you would like to try a traditional hutong-style hotel, this is as good as a family-run place can get. We...

The atmosphere of this traditional Hutong House style hostel is simply amazing. It's definitely a "deluxe" play to stay in this area of Beijing. Staff is also super friendly, even accompanied me to a nearby dinner place to help me order (twice!). Rooms are comfy and big too. I absolutely loved my stay there :) They offer tours to the...

Reasonable price, staff were great and helpful! I had a great time staying at this place. Located in a Hutong. You can get lost and find your way back outside this beautiful courtyard. Located at Fuchengmen street, you can walk 15-20 minutes to the metro. Banks, restaurants and malls are also nearby! I recommend this place to solo and group...

Everything is ok. Staff could speak English well. Room is large. Great Wall, Forbidden palace, food market and a day just cycling around in Beijing stopping wherever. in the middle of a friendly and quaint residential area with a mixture of homes, bars and restaurant. None to busy or noisy, just right. Great place, helpful staff with good suggestions when...

Wonderful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. A bit difficult for taxis to find, but fairly close to the Metro. Great place to stay if you want a taste of old (and real) China. Breakfast is very reasonable and good. The inner courtyard where breakfast is served is lovely.

This was a traditional Chinese hotel in a district that will probably be gone to redevelopment in 20 years. It is accessible down an alley way where locals pass by on electric bikes. It is a one story hotel with 9 rooms. The rooms are air conditioned and comfortable. There is a central courtyard with a ping pong table, fish...
