Positives: - Great food - Really friendly staff - Stunning views over the beach and the Indian Ocean - Excellent main pool and bar - Evening entertainment (particularly the live band) was excellent...

Well owesome where shall I start? as a military man we usually start on a low and finish in a high so I will start with bad points and move to what people will appreciate and that is good points. We arrived on the tuesday 20th and and arrived back in UK last night on an all inclusive holiday. The...

We booked a 2 day Safari with a 5 day stay at the Reef Hotel, Safari was faultless and we were looking forward to the 5 day beach time. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with cold towels and juice, luggage was taken off us whilst we checked in, all very good. The room was on 2nd...

We are grateful for you feedback and we take criticism very seriously. The Reef Hotel Mombasa is a pioneer in tourism in Kenya since 1970 and has developed a reputation for welcoming international and local guests. We, however, respect totally the privacy and sensitivities of hotel residents and do not at all permit non-resident visitors to solicit inside the hotel...

My partner and I have just returned from a two-week holiday at the Reef Hotel, Mombasa. We did have a lovely time but there were pros and cons to staying at this hotel. And as this is a review site I will give you our opinion of these. I’ll start with all the good things. The location is great, the...

We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed our pools , gardens and our food but clearly there were other areas that disappointed you and we would like to comment as follows: The beaches of Kenya are public space and the hotel has no capacity to conduct a control of what local people wish to sell to tourists in...

Last year in October I once more visited Mombasa, Kenya and picked The Reef Hotel as my basis. As it was rather cheap when compared to the other hotels in the brochure, I not immediately was expecting that much, but I was fortunately wrong. Friendly service, clean rooms, good food, peace and quiet. As less than fifty percent of the...

We bought a package which included a 9 days stay at the Reef Hotel in Nyali Beach. The resort is not luxury, but it is not sold a 5 star anyway. The room was very big and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also clean enough. Air-conditioning was working fine. The room had a view on the garden which is...

Spent two nights at Reef Hotel. Had a very pleasant stay overall. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Included in the rates were dinner and breakfast (half board). Both were buffet and was very good. Best part about the hotel is the beach which is breathtaking with clear blue waters and white sands. The hotel is quite old and when...

Just returned from Reef Hotel where I spent my 50th birthday with my sister. Beautiful hotel and beautiful staff. Everyone so welcoming with no hidden agenda. Staff genuinely concerned when I suffered quite bad sunburn and asked each day if I was ok. Quiet, peaceful hotel but still with plenty going on. Jane's ice cream's and smoothies - nobody can...

I cant believe this hotel is only a 3 star. The food is excellent quality for a 3 star, very fresh, their salads are amazing at the lunch and dinner buffet. The location is brilliant, right on the Indian Ocean. The Reef Matatu goes from right outside the hotel and will bring you into Mombasa city centre for around 40-50...
