I must say we got great service from all staff (chefs, owner, cleaners), and the Indian food was also delicious and generous in portion. This is a great place to stay when looking for peaceful atmosphere and polite and good service I had to spend one night in Mombasa and the area was very peaceful at night . I stayed there for a week on business in Mombasa. The place is in the old part of Mombasa, very peaceful at night and nice and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and service minded. The hotel has a restaurant serving Indian food and of good standard. Be aware that they dont serve and allow alcohol on the premises. The room I was given was large, comfortable and clean. I can only recommend the hotel.

I was looking for a place to spend the night in Mombasa near the town centre as I had errands to run in town the next day.Armaan suites was a great choice,it was clean,reasonably priced and the dinner was great!

I stayed here for 4 nights on while on a business trip. The room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and professional. The food was great . The only downside to my stay was the intermittent WiFi.

We only went for a meal at the restaurant and not for the accommodation so this review is geared only to our experience at the restaurant. Nice ambiance in a large air conditioned rooms. Pretty obvious that this was once an apartment converted to restaurant but pleasant all the same. We tried a number of dishes and were quite impressed with them all. For some reason the starters were better that the main course dishes, which were also really very nice. The prices are very pocket friendly as well. I would definitely go back whenever I visit Mombasa. Just one issue: for the type and class of restaurant they are trying to maintain, place mats on naked tables and serviettes in place of napkins don't auger well. This restaurant should have proper table covers and damask napkins to show it's true class. All in all, a great evening out.…

We booked this hotel with a down payment for a two night stay for bed and breakfast.And even went further to call the hotel to verify the details . We were welcomed very well on the first day but they kept asking for the balance. when we when we went to have a breakfast the following morning, we find that one of the managers Adam,had instructed the staff not to serve us breakfast as we had not paid for it while the booking confirmation clearly indicated that the room rate included breakfast. we had an over 45 minute argument with Adam before the other manager stepped in. On returning to the hotel that night after our errands, we find the gate locked despite communicating that we would be returning to the hotel late and mind you, it was raining heavily, we had to call this Adam for the gates to be opened. They did not serve us breakfast on the next morning either.No hot showers either or internet in the rooms. Our overall stay with them was nasty and very disappointing.…

Food was served promptly and to our great satisfaction. We ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed each thoroughly. The menu holds a great selection from veg to mutton that caters remarkably well to the palate of every foodie. The restaurant is cosy and air conditioned which provides a cool shelter from the heat of everyday Mombasa. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in enjoying some authentic Indian cuisine whilst visiting or living in Mombasa.

From the service, to the ambience and the Food, the best dining experience so far in Mombasa. Butter chicken and mari methi chicken were too good. The Poussin items were the best i have had in a while. Keep it up!
