Great tent camp. The wildlife at the conservancy was fantastic. We had a great driver named Jackson and our spotter was John Mark. They were able to find the animals we wanted to see and more. The meals were outstanding and the food and drink service was top notch with Philip. Hippos outside our room at night. We would highly...

A great camp, great staff, great food. The conservancy has excellent wildlife, and a short drive into the Mara itself. The camp is aptly named. I have been going in and out of Africa for more than 12 years and have never seen as many cats. If you have time and inkling, be sure to do a nature walk. We...

Porini Lion facilities are wonderful. The Masai team who took care of me and my best friend were top notched. As two women traveling alone we felt so protected by the team both in the camps and out during our morning and evening game drives. The facilities rival any lodge I've ever visited and labeling it a rustic tent far...

August 9, 2014 - I just returned from Kenya - for the third time and always with Porini! I took my niece, her husband and their two children. Trust me - if I had ANY worries about their safety I would not have taken them. If you stay in Nairobi at a good hotel ( we always stay at the...

Amazing camp and guides.I was REALLY lucky to have seen SO many animals and various lions and cubs, there was always something different happening when our guides drove me out on safari…Food was impeccable and the Masai staff were super friendly…Love having animals around my tent at night munching away at the grass or the lions roaring/huffing at night :-)

Poring was our first stop in our Kenya/Tanzania 2 week itinerary. It was perfect. We have been on safari in other parts of Africa and so knew a little what to expect in a tented camp. They covered all the right bases. Good size tents and amenities, great food, terrific guides, courteous helpful staff. What made the trip so terrific...

We liked the almost serene at,osphere in the conservatory. It made us feel good to be in a tented camp, environmentally good, without missing comfort and care. The staff is amazing - they really care. Our guide and driver Big John and John mac created a truly unforgettable wildlife experience. We saw incredible scenes with leopards, cheetas, lions, hyenas and...

I visited Porini Lion Camp for 2 nights in July 2014, and loved it. Service excellent, guides superb, food and accommodation and camp management all first class. They go the extra mile to make you comfortable, and the wildlife is breathtaking - even for a hard-bitten Kenyan resident and gamespotter like me. It's a social place too, where you meet...

I can't imagine a better way to do a safari than at a Porini camp. We stayed at the Lion Camp for two nights in early July, with two nights before that at Porini Amboseli - first time in Africa for us and our two teenagers (18 and 16). The standard of comfort provided at both camps was outstanding (it's...

My husband and I have a new standard for all future trips -- Porini Perfection. We did 9 nights with Porini, starting with Nairobi Tented Camp, 2 nights at Amboseli, 2 nights and Rhino and 4 nights at Lion, in late June/early July. We love the conservancy/eco concept, the execution and the people. The welcome is genuine, the tents are...
