I stayed at the Kicheche Bush Camp for 3 nights in January as part of a photo Safari trip. It had been 26 years since my first and only trip to the Maasai Mara and I could not have picked a better spot to enjoy a return visit. Our group was welcomed by Darren and Emma ( and their young...

There is something about the Kicheche Camps generally that sets them above other similar establishments. At Bush camp the attention to detail in every aspect of the service is amazing. The tents are beautifully arranged for privacy and that "Out of Africa", experience. The food is varied, interesting and well prepared and served and the camp atmosphere is one of...

We arrived at Kicheche Bush Camp on the second part of our safari and it looked just as wonderful as it had when we visited 4 years ago. We had had a fantastic game drive through stunning landscapes, and witnessed a cheetah kill amongst lots of other sightings on our journey from Kicheche Mara Camp where we'd spent the previous...

4th time visiting this tented camp with 6 tents. Managers Darren and Emma couldn't be finer. All my guides are over qualified and I always see "everything". Bucket showers but plenty of water and hot water on am to wash. Leave your flaps open and listen to lions, hyenas, black backed jackel, zebra honking and wildebeest... Sky so clear u...

From the second one arrives, Darren and Emma (the managers) make one feel like you have come to visit old friends. The camp is small with only six tents and is not fenced so we were serenaded wonderfully nightly by lions, wildebeests and zebras munching their way through the camp. The food is outstanding and I found myself wanting recipes...

A superb tented camp. Great game viewing - particular thanks to Fig, Olare and the members of the the Dik Dik pride. Brilliant wildlife and photographic guiding - thanks to Charles. Finally wonderful hosting - thanks to Emma and Darren. Emma, I'm looking forward to returning once I have saved up some more stories!

We visited the camp for the 5th time, and certainly will return again. Stayed 4 nights in the beginning of February 2017, and really enjoyed the enthusiasm, professionalism and devotion of the great staff, the atmosphere created by Darren and Emma, the high standard of the tents, the service, and the food - and most of all the game drives....

We were given such a warm welcome by relief manager Aki and the rest of the Kicheche Bush Camp team that we immediately felt at home and part of the family. We loved our luxury tent, Kipepeo (butterfly ) and its " remote " setting at the outer edge of the camp which made us feel quite adventurous. The Bush...

Just returned from our fourth visit to this lovely camp. We love Safari holidays but Kenya is our favourite country and Bush Camp our absolute favourite camp. The wildlife is outstanding, the camp friendly and efficient, the guiding second to none. Darren and Emma are great hosts and make every meal a party. All the guides are brilliant but James...

I last visited Bush Camp in 2011 but have to been to other camps and countries on safari since. Bush Camp remains the best. Sure it doesn't have a swimming pool or baths to laze in (but this is pretty morally reprehensible anyway in a drought area) but it does have the most amazing wildlife -always better in a private...
