A superb Kenyan Sopa lodge in the middle of the game reserve. I cannot fault the staff at this lodge, the service and staff were excellent, the rooms clean and the food was superb. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly

Excellente place! Of course it is not a rustic safari trip. If you plan on a 3 day-2 nights Sopa is perfect since you'll have good food and a very good sleep on their wonderful rooms with king size beds, great bathroom with hot water all the time. You'll get a bottle of water daily, clean towels and well cooked...

I stayed here for 2 nights while on Safari. I was met with a cloth and a drink. The room was lovely and well presented with amazing views. The food was delicious with a good choice for every meal. Stayed in this facility from 29th April to 1st May. I give this facility 5 star on meals, rooms, and general safety, cleaniliness etc. My biggest trouble with this facility is extremely limited internet access. WiFi is only available at the main bar and the reception - and for very limited time when the generator is running! There is no...

Good location, clean rooms. Toiletries provided. Very friendly staff. The ambience of the lodge is great. There was a Masai dance one evening which was very good to watch and understand their culture. Lounge has a fireplace and the Wifi works only at the reception or at the lounge area. No wifi in the rooms. Good selection of food at...

The location of Sopa Lodge is amazing, with an impressive view on the crater. Nice to see monkeys in the gardens and by the pool. Rooms are old fashioned, and the food was probably on of our least good during our trip.

The hotel has amazing hospitality, from the reception, guards, restaurant staff and even pool attendant. The views from the rooms and pool are paranomic! A few small wildlife even get close enough to the rooms. The food was fresh and tasty, with the best African tea ever! Rooms are big, comfortable beds, always clean! Nets even drawn for you in...

Stayed here for three days in Dec of 2016. The lodge is at the very edge of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and very close to the Reserve's Oloolaimutia Gate. Actually, there is no telling where one begins and the other ends!. During our stay there were lots of Dik-Dik, a species of small antelope, dotting the grounds at night....

We enjoyed a 4 day 3 night stay at Sopa the first week in April of 2017 as part of first leg of our 3 country Africa tour. We were welcomed to the lodge with lovely towels and cool drinks upon arrival. Check in was simple and quick. We were escorted to our cabin by the staff and given a...
