This was actually my least favourite hotel in Kenya. While the grounds and sitting areas were nice, the Food and Rooms were far from it. Room: The room was very very small, especially given that there were 3 of us. There was no internet/ No fridge/ No Aircon and No Fan. It wasn’t a very comfortable stay at all as...

Great location within the park, excellent food, superb service from all staff and always with a smile. The room was large and simple but charming with a fully stocked bathroom. Truly felt the troubles fall off our shoulders and embraced being in the countryside with the sights, sounds and starlight.

Arrived from Naivsha after a 5 hour drive, hot and tired. Greeted with hot towel and cold juice. Checked in without any hassle, advised about all facilities available, instructions on when power is not available (they have to rest the generators) and taken to our room. Nice big room with all basic facilities. Food was similar to Sopa in Naivasha,...

We stayed here as part of a package safari holiday with virgin holidays. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I believe this is the oldest of the sopa lodges and although not the most stunning location (that was the lake navasha one) this was the best run. Food was varied and very good. They do turn the electric off...

Great location in the hillside with beautiful view. Nice staff, but a lot of them (aspecially the women) talk so quietly that you can barely hear them... Nice cabins, but they could use a little upgrading and the walls between the rooms are very thin. On our first night we had trouble sleeping because the neighbour was snoring so loudly......

Hotel was nice with friendly staff. Rooms were just OK. Had lots of mosquitos, even with the night time netting. Food was just OK too. The biggest downfall of this hotel is that wifi was VERY spotty. The other thing is that they use power from generators, so they shut down several times a day with no power, just day...

We stayed for two nights at Sopa Lodge as part of a service group after-work safari. The hotel and rooms and lodge are beautiful, as are the grounds. I did not use the pool, as it was a bit chilly when we were there, but it is beautiful, as well. The food was excellent, with a large variety. The one...

This was our first Lodge in Kenya. On arrival we were greeted with a cooling drink and refreshing face cloth. This level of service and attention to guests was maintained throughout our 2 night stay. The rooms were spacious and bottled water was provided at no extra cost. Meals were generally buffet style and there was a good selection. The...
