We would like to say that this was the trip of a lifetime. We booked a safari with gamewatchers safaris, 3 nights in Selenkay , 3 nights in Ol Kinyei. Absolutely the best service in both places. As I said before you go to the animals as close as possible. I dont remember how many cheetahs, lions etc we saw...

Porini Adventure Camp Ol Kenyei is a gem. As the most affordable option I could find in a conservancy, I booked with a bit of trepidation thinking it might be too rustic for me. In reality, it was perfect. The tents are small dome tents with a mattress on the floor and the private bathroom is separate at the back...

Gamewatchers (Julie Roggow) organized an incredible trip to Kenya and Zanzibar. We stayed at the Nairobi Tented Camp, the Selenkay and Ol Kinyei Adventure Camps, Il Keliani Camp (for a bit of luxury) and finished off with a stay in Zanzibar - at Stone Town Coffee House and the Breezes Beach Resort. Everything went seamlessly. A Gamewatchers representative awaited us...

Extraordinary!, Superb!, Beyond my dreams! The wildlife was beyond belief. The rustic camp had the very best of game drives and food service. It’s been over 40 years since I last slept in a sleeping bag, but I was comfortable and it was so great to hear lions roar. The Ol Kinyei Conservancy was beautiful. I was amazed by the...

Within 30 minutes of being picked up from our Safarilink flight we watched a cheetah hunt, chase down and catch a gazelle! It was action packed from start to finish. Our guide Jackson and spotter Dominic were very knowledgable and very accomodating, making it a unique experience we will never forget. We were even lucky enough to see a river...

I was here on safari in Sept 2015 and it was AMAZING!!! I did a lot of research and chose Gamewatchers/Porini Camps over all the other outfitters. The guides were great, the food was top notch (I'm a little bit of a foodie....), and the service impeccable. I loved the idea of staying in a tent because it seemed a...

This is not a review on a trip but on the customer service. I had booked a safari more than 1 year in advance. Unfortunately, I had to cancel a couple of weeks later - also more than one year in advance. I was able to communicate with my booking agent and Jake in Kenya. Due to my unusual circumstances...

The conditions are excellent, it's like a 5 stars service in the middle of the Savannah. The Maasai are very helpful and polite and don't worry about staying in tents, they are larger and more comfortable that many hotel rooms. The guides are very good and they do everything possible to bring you very close to wild life. Many thanks...

Its marketed as a "adventure camping" but its definitely luxurious camping. There are white butterflies that flutter around the food tent and common area (there are hammocks). The tents are set up for you and come with your own private toilet and shower. Food is excellent, three course meals for lunch and dinner and buffet breakfast (pancakes and omlet were...

Our trip to Kenya was fantastic thanks to the care given to the 5 members in our family group by the camp staff and our drivers and guides in the conservancies. All the trained Gamewatchers staff know the land and its animals intimately and ensured we had a rich safari experience with few other vehicles around. The food was fantastic...
