My friend and I stayed at the camp for two nights. The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. The food was wonderful and big portions so you would not go hungry. The tent we stayed in was really nice. We did have some spiders in the tent however the staff came in and got rid of these as my... More

This lodgeis a very basic tented camp to stay in if visiting the Masai Mara reserve on a budget. They have two types of tents. At the top of the camp, nearer the entrance, there are several older tents, which are very basic, which is an understatement. The floors of the entire unit are tarpaulin. The toilet and showers are... More

Didn't expect it to be such a stunning place as it turned out to be! Was more than pleasantly surprised when we reached there after a long, bumpy and tiring drive from Nairobi. Plenty of game viewing (including the Big Five) in just two days, as well as giraffes grazing across the hill from our tents. Food was fab, staff... More

I spent three days from 22nd to 24th August with my family. Being my first time with a road drive from Nairobi it wasn't easy. The drive was tiring, the welcome from Sheila and the crew was very warm. The tented rooms inviting, very lovely concept. The food was good not much variety but very well done. It is worth... More

The booking for this camp was made last minute by an agent in Nairobi. I am living in Kenya and working for an NGO so I am fortunate enough to have a vehicle. I chose to drive myself. There are no signs, many of the drivers weren't sure where to direct me and unfortunately, when you google this camp whoever... More

I'm torn as to whether to give this camp three or four stars, because it really depends on what you're expecting. If you're expecting luxury, you'll be disappointed. If you're expected camping, you'll be pleasantly surprised. My wife and I stayed 2 nights at this tented camp just outside Masai Mara game reserve as part of a 10-day safari trip... More

We should have stayed here for 2 nights but... when it rains the river that separates the area where the tented camp is located from Masai Mara is swelling and you can say bye bye to your things if you are caught on the wrong side of the river. So we have stayed here only one night. We arrived here... More
