We stayed here for 3 nights in November 2016. The rooms are basic which was expected, mosquito nets were perfectly good. The main issue we found was that the walls are paper thin and we were woken up every hour of the night from rooms upstairs slamming doors, talking, yelling and just overall walking around. The service is okay but...

This hotel was booked by a local travel agency. We came from a very nice hotel around amboseli park and we stayed the last night here. The Cleanliness is not an attribute here. (actually they gave you flip flops for taking you a shower)

Hotel Troy has a nice environment if you are getting away from the noise in Central Nairobi. It provides the atmosphere of being far from the madding crowd. You can swim, relax, read and even work if you desire. The rooms are spacious. Only that in the new cottages the internet access needs to improve. Hotel Troy are very generous...

Having stayed in Nairobi before I knew how difficult it was in central Nairobi regards noise and busyness so I was looking for something well located but still at a budget price located in a quiet part of town. Could not of found a better place, location is great close to all attractions , you can walk to most with...

Nice hotel in a great location next to the Nairobi Game Park with pleasant grounds and small pool. Our room was small and was a little tight for the two of us but bathroom was fine. The one annoyance was the water pump which was on most of the day and sporadically at night which was right outside our door...

It was only a quick stop in Nairobi for us, but Hotel Troy was everything we needed. We chose it because of its location, as it is close to both the Giraffe centre and Elephant orphanage. The room was neat and tidy. The food was nice enough and the staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helped where they could. The...

I booked this place through Booking.com and was happy with the deal. I wasn't expecting much because of the price, but it certainly did surprise me the overall quality of the Hotel. The service was fantastic, very very friendly and welcoming which really made the stay so good. There was a mix up with the booking as reception said they'd...

A good find just out of Nairobi city in Karen . Chosen for proximity to Wilsons airport for transfer flt to Masai Mara and for proximity to David Sheldrick Elephant orphanage. Helpful front desk staff.. taxis etc. Our basic room had hot shower, was clean with mozzie net and was safe and quiet. Good value for around $AUD 65/ night...
