My partner and I couldn't get enough of feeding "our" giraffe, Kelly, whether over afternoon cocktails, from the balcony of our room at sunrise or over breakfast! The hotel manager, Nick, had indicated that we should just stop feeding them whenever we felt like it because we were sure to get bored before the giraffes did but that proved to...

I cannot speak highly enough of the high quality service I received from the staff. They were all so lovely and helpful, everything from start to finish was seamless and perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone looking to get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures. The experience of a lifetime - do it!

We visited Giraffe Manor because it had been featured on a travelogue programme in the UK and immediately captured our interest. All I can say is "WOW". It is one of the most amazing experiences ever. This is a conservation project so it is not just "touristy" it is serious stuff but the experience of having a giraffe knock on...

Thank you so much. Glad you were also able to explore our local area and what we have to offer here. I am so glad that we were able to live up to your expectations. Hope to see you back one day.

Staying at Giraffe Manor is like staying at a friends house . There are no locks on the room doors ( well only from inside) You can help yourself to drinks in the lounge. Betty's room is the best room as it has a balcony that the giraffes visit in the morning ( if you tempt them) The room we...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. We are in the process of resurfacing and have already done most of the rooms, but keeping to the antique theme. Glad we could surprise you with the tea time feeding, it’s one of our favorite times of day – and the warthogs! The Center is so well worth...

I have always wanted to visit the Giraffe Manor, though the nightly price tag had been somewhat of a barrier. I recently learned that during the low season, and only if the hotel is not full, there are a few slots that open up for non-overnight guests to visit the manor for lunch, tea or dinner. We elected to join...

Thank you so much for this, I don’t think that I could have said this better. We do try to accommodate people during the busy season, but it is a real case by case basis. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope that you could stay overnight and experience the breakfast!

This place is amazingly run. Nik was a real gent and all the staff were knowledgeable and aware of our every need. We went for afternoon high tea but next time I will most definitely staying the night. Non-touristy feeling, up close and personal with the animals, in a beautiful serene setting. An oasis in Nairobi! Highly recommend. Mel

We have just had three amazing nights at GM, staying in the "Betty" room, where the giraffes come to the window and the balcony for an early morning greeting. The staff are sensational, the food is as good as you'll find in any restaurant anywhere in the world, and the experience is simply fabulous. We also took a half-day safari...

It was wonderful to have you with us too! Thank you for your kind words for our food and staff. It is true that Sheldricks and NNP are superb and should be on your list when you come to Nairobi too, so glad that you got to experience them.

An experience guaranteed to never be forgotten. Feeding and getting kissed by giraffes. A real up close, personal experience. Good value for money. Great for all ages. Highly recommend doing if you have a few hours free in Nairobi.

Thank you. One of the best ways to get up and personal with Animals and also learn of the plight that brings us to this stage of having to look after them. Hopefully next time you can stay with us overnight.

This is the most unique hotel that we have visited. We had read the reviews but never imagined that we would have so much personal contact with those lovely giraffes. We fed them at tea time, again after supper, and then in the morning from daybreak to after breakfast. Nothing had prepared us for such a wonderful experience. We had...

The reviews, we find, can never prepare you for the experience, that is so true. You do have to be there to experience what it is like to be so close to one of these magnificent creatures. We are so glad that you had a great one and yes, they are always hungry!
