From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Tony we felt so welcomed . Feeding the giraffes and laughing at the wart- hogs over our afternoon drinks on the front lawn and again over breakfast was such a unique surreal time. The staff were so friendly, the food delicious and meeting other people from different countries was great. Loved...

As a small group of 3 friends, we stayed in the Karen Blixen Suite which is located right next to the kitchen. It includes a big bed, a winding staircase leading to a loft upstairs with 2 beds, a vintage bathtub and shower, a separate toilet room, plenty of chairs and seating, a vanity, blowdryer, bathrobes, a small TV and...

The Manor itself is a wonderful accommodation with large, comfortable rooms; attentive and helpful staff; and great meals, but the Giraffes steal the show. It may seem corny, but it is truly an amazing experience. Both the afternoon feeding on the back lawn or the morning feeding at breakfast. Must be experienced to be believed. Yes, it is expensive, but...

My mother decided to treat me to our first night in Kenya at Giraffe Manor (as I adore Giraffes!); we stayed in Jock's room, which is a front facing room allowing the giraffes to come to our window for treats in the morning. Upon arriving, it was apparent that nothing would be too much for the guests and, of course,...

A lovely property in Karen, which is located just outside of Nairobi - took me 20 minutes or so to get there from the airport. I got in very late, and they had a lovely hot meal waiting for me and made me a nightcap without batting an eye. I was in Betty's Room, on the second floor in the...

Giraffes can put their heads into your upper room windows for a snack [provided] There is a free bar in the main lounge and a small reading room with a TV to...

Giraffe Manor is hands down the best place I've ever stayed as far as food and service goes. And add to that the experience of having a giraffe peeking through your window wanting a bit of attention in the morning and it makes for a great stay. The food is sensational, every meal was different and beyond tasty, yum. There...

I am so sad to be writing this - because it means I am at home and NOT at Giraffe Manor - the best place in the world. How can you beat giraffe kisses at breakfast! Nik, Edgar and the rest of the staff are the absolute best. The food is hands down the best of The Collection. We were...

A once in a lifetime experience. Getting VERY close to the magnificent animals. Stunning place for all ages. Absolutely worth the visit. Staying at the hotel is super expensive. The experience is almost as good just visiting. Getting as close to the giraffes.

I stayed here for 2 nights in Feb 2016, on my own after a week safari. It was the most amazing place I have ever stayed and cannot recommend it enough. I am a giraffe lover and it was heaven to stay among these beautiful animals and feed and pet them, eat breakfast with them and kiss them! Besides the...
