Had dinner at the Indian restaurant. The staff members were really helpful and great. The food was great and I was amazed at the fare pricing of a bottle of wine. If you have a membership card you get good discounts.

My arrival and customs processing was swift. Upon exit front the aitport, After 22 hours of flying, I was met immediately by my hotel arranged driver and a hotel host who promptly checked me into my room, keys and all, curbside. A rather long traffic filled ride to the hotel was made comfortable in the Mercedes, and the driver communicated...

The reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the Conference and Exhibition Centre: a 3 minute walk away. It is a busy Hotel. If you try to understand the pressure the staff are subjected to, give them the due respect and courtesies, speak to them in proper English then your rewards will be multi-folds. They know you are...

Great location. A little bit old though. TV was like in the 1980's. Food was fine. Safety was guaranteed. Good enough for someone like me who spent only one night in Nairobi and head directly to Masaai Mara National Park. ;)

I attended a workshop at Intercontinental. Its a good hotel with great ambience. I like the lounge area for meetings over a cup of coffee. The wash rooms were disappointing! They are in dire need of maintenance. Loose toilet seats. Really disappointing for an Intercontinental hotel! Another big problem is lack of parking. The hotel seems to have rented out...

I stayed here for 5 nights attending two large conferences back-to-back. This hotel, in the center of Nairobi, handled large conferences without a misstep. Everything worked and the space was good for a conference of more than 100 people. Staff was experienced and very friendly and security was adequate. Food was nothing remarkable but perfectly fine. The in-house Indian restaurant...

The Intercontinental was not a bad experience. The hotel is just absolutely no where near the standard of what the brand represents - the rooms, the amenities, the entertainment system (TV).... One thing though, given the situation in Nairobi the security and access control is quite good.
