Pros: The place is quite close to town and one could opt to walk. They do try on making it a comfortable place. Also the restaurant was responsive to most requests and food was good. Cons: The location is tricky to access especially if traffic is thick, there can be long delays and the while CBD is within walking distance,...

We stayed at the Kahama for three nights on our way to and from Tanzania. The people at Kahama--the reservations agents, the servers in the restaurant, the drivers, and those who helped us with our bags--were all great and made us feel like welcome guests. Karen arranged for our Riverside shuttle to Arusha, Tanzania to pick us up at the...

Not a bad place. It's average, good staffs and nice breakfast. Only I wonder why no bacon for breakfast but maybe it's Hotel rules. Otherwise it's budget friendly and easily accessible from town centre. Transport at the door steps.

The interior design is wao, comfortable beds and sumptuous breakfast not forgetting the friendly staffs and the Wi-Fi is good. Its also a workable distance to and from the city center for those who would love to walk.

I heard about the Kahama Hotel via a Lonely Planet review and booked it for my recent stay in Nairobi. It was great value and located very close to the CBD. I had a clean and comfortable room at the back of the hotel away from the traffic noise (as it is located on a very busy intersection). The staff...

Our stay at Kahama was OK. Its a budget hotel and the rooms are clean and food is great and affordable. But noise from the city centre and the busy road next to it was not so nice. The staff were great, the food too. Reaching it requires patience coz there is always traffic. Infact, except for the noise and...

First time at Kahama. Our room was a bit musty and smelled of cigarette smoke and the duvet of dust. The curtains also seemed a bit dusty ( I'm allergic to dust so its the first thing I look out for). The room with twin beds is sufficiently spacious but the stairs could be a bit wider. Nobody offered to...

We stayed this past weekend with 4 of my friends at Kahama Nairobi and we found the rooms very neat and cosy for a budget hotel! The bathrooms were also clean. They also ironed our clothes for free (which never happens in hotels!) and their room service is also free. Their breakfast was quite impressive as well. However, the corridors...
