We finished our great safari adventure with Gamewatchers by having our last night in Kenya at the Tented Camp. To be so close to Nairobi but to feel like you were a million miles away was great. Lovely staff, excellent food, comfortable tents and hearing a tree hyrax while sitting next to the campfire at night was a lovely way... More

If you are planning a dedicated safari trip, to last for several days, then South Africa or the Serengeti would probably be worth the expense. But we wanted to zip over from Europe for just a few days and didn't want to spend a fortune to do so. It turned out that the cheapest safari we could find was an... More

This camp is an excellent introduction to what one can experience with GameWatchers. You will be very comfortable in small (no large groups) accommodations at this camp, very good service and food/beverages. This camp has limited direct wildlife viewing from its location, while the photo drives they give do provide lots of distant viewing of animals. For those able to... More

We were a group of seven people who had this intimate tented safari camp to ourselves for one night. The staff and facilities were amazing! We were picked up from our hotel by our safari guide who drove us to the tented camp, taking detours along the way in the National Park to show us animals - a mini safari... More

The best place to stay if you prefer to be away from the city surrounded by wildlife. 9 tents only. Hot showers upon request, flushing toilet and working sink. Drinking water provided in bottles. Solar powered so lights in tent. Wifi and charging area available at main tent. Food is amazing. better than most 5 star hotels in my opinion.... More

I've been to Nairobi Tented Camp several times in the past three years. Each time it presents a unique experience to get my guests so excited over the wildlife and game drives. As a travel agent who accompanies her groups, I find this is one of the best ways to jump start their experience. I love to watch the faces... More

Your Game Watchers experience starts the moment you leave the airport. The Nairobi National Park can be seen on the left hand side as you exit and the Nairobi Tented Camp is about 40 minutes drive away, depending on traffic conditions. You will be met at the entrance to the park by your driver/guide and enjoy a game drive on... More

I took a spontaneous day off and wondered what to do with it. It was the long weekend, we knew there was going to be traffic on the way back from Naivasha on the next day with everybody coming back at the same time - and a bulb went off! Nairobi Tented Camp! Close, no unnecessarily getting stuck in traffic... More

My wife and I have just returned from our first African photo safari, from October 7 to 16, where we visited three great, but very different tent camps. I am writing this on our second day back, still recovering from jet lag, while the details are fresh in my mind. Nairobi Tent Camp is located inside the Nairobi National Park... More

Close to the airport/Nairobi downtown, comfortable, safe, clean, good food, good animal viewing, friendly staff. After a full 48 hours of travel from the USA my wife and I landed at midnight in Nairobi jet-lagged and exhausted. So incredibly thankful we booked 2 nights, through the phenomenal agency go2africa, at Nairobi Tented Camp before heading out to the Mara. It... More
