Hi! I see some folks have recommended the 3-day Masai maara trip organized by Milimani Backpackers. So we've booked it now and really looking forward to it. However, I have a question to those of you who've done the trip before. There's an optional Masai village visit on the last day. In regard to that I wonder: how often is this trip done (meaning do the village get visits every other day by tourists)?, have the village inhabitants capitalized on the visiting tourists (so that they to some extent rely financially on the visits)? Cuz if they have not capitalized on the visits I spontaneously feel that they might think its uncomfortable to constantly have tourist come and "watch" them live there daylily life as if they also where part of the safari "subjects". Would appreciate if someone who's done the trip could share there experience.
