this is more based on frustration than a description of the stay/place. We paid 15% in advance and the rest was to pay by departure. However, they charged os the full amount by departure so we ended up paying 15+100%. So I wrote to their info e-mail twice, but (not surprisingly), I still have no answer from them after 2...

We are so glad we found this beautiful and quiet camp. We live in Nairobi and greatly needed an easy and relaxing getaway. Wildebeest Eco Camp was just that! We set up our own tent in the soft, shaded lawn and spent the afternoon reading on the lawn chairs and playing lawn chess. Dinner was a delicious and hearty spread...

Thus place was recommended to me by friends who used to live in Nairobi. It's near to attractions like the Karen Blixen cottage, giraffe centre and elephant orphanage (David Sheldrake). This is important, as traffic in Nairobi is dire and travel times can be long. They can arrange taxis for you if you don't have a car. They have accommodation...

Wildebeest is a beautiful camp and I always stay here when I pass through Nairobi. Rooms are lovely and clean. Brilliant price for such a nice place and with breakfast included. Both the dorm rooms and the private rooms are great. If you have the evening buffet the food is delicious. The one downside is that it's quite far from...

We stayed in a deluxe tent for two nights. When we first entered the tent it smelt quite strongly of sewerage which I am guessing is from the system they have going there. Luckily it did improve overtime or perhaps our noses desensitised. The beds were not that comfy but the pillows and blankets were. The gardens are beautiful and...

This is my go-to place in Nairobi as I absolutely love the environment and peace you feel escaping the busyness of Nairobi. For backpackers it has amazingly comfortable dorms, tents, and campsite spots. For those wanting a bit more upscale the ensuite tents are incredible. Hot showers, great wifi, amazing food, this Eco Camp has it all.

Stayed here for just one night after my safari was over with my brother. If we had known how great it was we would have stayed here pre-safari too instead of the other place we stayed in town. Great atmosphere, hot showers, good wifi, decent food, ping pong. Location is a bit out of town, but the comfort and reasonable...

For Kenyans and international tourists (from backpackers to those wanting ensuite tented accommodation) wanting space for themselves or for children to play and discover the highlights around Langata which include Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Center and Daphne Sheldrick elephant orphanage – with a ‘safari-feel’ to it, Wildebeest Eco-Camp is delightful. It’s very eco – grey water is recycled to water...

The site: beautiful with the sound of birds and crickets, not busy nairobi traffic! Lovely gardens to wander through However the dogs barking did keep me awake the first night. The site is beautifully lit at night with lanterns. No need to use torches to find the tent and bathroom! Tent: relative luxury to normal camping experiences I've had. Very...

We were 6 girlfriends traveling to Nairobi (specifically Karen) for a weekend. We booked 2 triple tents and were so surprised when we arrived after the hectic traffic in Nairobi . . . What a little oasis Wildebeest Eco Lodge turned out to be! Our tents had clean, comfortable beds for 3 and a sparkling clean bathroom consisting of hot...
