Thank you to everyone at Wildebeest for an amazing first night's stay in Africa! Thank you Janine of Serengeti Safari Co. for recommending and arranging Wildebeest. Wildebeest staff were great, "tents" with ensuite were amazing, beds were very clean and comfortable, grounds are beautiful, and the food was delicious! After flying for 20 hours and an 8 hour time loss,...

Wow, thanks for your kind words. We are so pleased to hear that your family enjoyed your stay with us and that our Deluxe Safari Tent was a welcome site when you landed in Nairobi after such a long flight. We have worked hard to create an oasis for families and we are glad that we got it so right...

This is a special place to stay, not far from the centre of Nairobi but in some ways, a world away. The rooms are in tents but have a touch of luxury with many having en suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. For the rooms without en suite there is a shower block with plenty of hot water. Breakfast and dinner...

Dear Eileen, Gosh we are blown away by your kind words. Thank you so much for letting us know that we have got so many things right for you. You are right, the owners have put their heart and soul into creating this camp from nothing, and wanted it to be a perfect oasis for guests visiting Nairobi. We are...

This was such a wonderful surprise after landing in Nairobi. The hotel is just outside of the city which means a quieter atmosphere, which is also based on the fact that the grounds are lush and filled with plants. I was traveling solo and stayed in a single tent with a shared bathroom (the bed was very comfortable!). The tent...

Hi Marlee, Thank you for highlighting so many of the things that you liked about our camp. We are so pleased to read that you were pleasantly surprised by the camp, that you found your room comfortable and that you enjoyed the 'lush plant-filled gardens'. We are particularly happy that you found both our meals and the gift shop excellent...

I have stayed 2 nights at the Wildebeest Eco Camp. I was a very good experience. It is a little outside Nairobi, but not too far away. They have also a taxi service, so they can pick you up, at the airport. I give it my warmest recommendations.

Dear Rene, Thank you so much for your warmest recommendations. We are so pleased to hear that you had a good experience staying with us and that you recognised that being a bit out of the city centre is actually a great location. You are right, we are very conveniently located to quickly access the airport (if the traffic is...

I stayed at Wildebeest Eco Camp for two nights - one night at each end of a safari in Masai Mara. I stayed in an en suite garden room (room 25). I found the room, with 4 poster and mosquito netting, was clean and had a good shower. Main feature of this place is that you can have buffet dinner...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us on this visit to Nairobi. We are glad to hear that you feel you made a good choice in staying somewhere a bit different, rather than a standard city hotel. You are right, we are very well located for guests who are going or returning from safari. It is great to hear...

Really enjoyed the stay here, food was nice, showers hot and beds comfy. Only thing was most of the staff were very slow, took about 15 mins to get my bill one morning when I was the only one there. The make staff member (can't remember his name!) was excellent :) Great ethos

Very serene, quite relaxing, refreshing and very ambient. It's out of this world. Couldn't believe such a place exist within the proximity of Nairobi and surrounded by such loads of activities to partake. Highly recommended.

Wow! Not what I was expecting at all, a small piece of heaven in the middle of a busy city. Our group arrived all at different times and some of us were delayed and quite late, they left food for us for when we arrived and were extremely welcoming! The tents are comfortable, we stayed in a dorm tent the...

The location is very good, close to Galeria shopping complex, and with reasonable new road access to the airport. There is a large variety of accommodation, ranging from camping to luxury en-suite tents.

I really wanted to stay in the eco lodge. After spending 1 week in downtown Nairobi for a wedding I could not wait to get to this beautiful place. And it was beautiful. The setting, the tents, the other travellers. All amazing - and the food was good too. However, there were a few points, mainly with regards to service,...
