It’s been a day since returning home from our stay with Eleanore, Mehmdu, and their incredible staff at Beit Sabee and already I’m nostalgic. Our group of nine stayed at Beit Sabee before and after a dream-like week floating down the Nile aboard the sailboat Meroe (operated by the same owners under the company name Nour El Nil, which deserves... This small, charming hotel looks straight across the desert to the Valley of the Queens and is only five minutes walk from Medinat Habu. It's in a very peaceful location on the edge of town. The food is wonderful and the staff very friendly, highly recommended.

Everything was perfect and the service was outstanding. But the best part of Beit Sabe is its location which is right near the temples and tombs on the West Bank (it's incorrectly located on the East Bank on the tripadvisor map). I'd been to Egypt before and knew I wanted to stay away from the bustle of Luxor's East Bank... More

We began our 9 week holiday with a stay at Beit Sabee and a trip with Nour el Nil on a dahabiya in April, 2013. Like many others, we cannot be positive enough about our experience. The staff, accommodation and yes, the food, was absolutely incredible. The best fish we have ever tasted .....fortunately we were able to have it... More

This is a really beautiful place to stay if you want to see the sites of Luxor. We actually stayed here before getting on a boat down the Nile also owned and run by the owners of Beit Sabee Hotel, which is worth a review in itself (ask about the trips when you are booking to stay, as they are... Like many others, I stayed here before and after my unforgettable cruise - the hotel is run by the same folks as those who do the Nour El Nil cruises. The hotel is exceptionally clean, well-run, and stress-free. The best way I can summarize this is that it feels like home instantly. Here are the highlights: -- The location --... More

Stayed here in March before and after an amazing week on a dahabiya run by the same people. The hotel is charming and authentic. I felt spoiled by the way the staff treated us, attending to every little thing to make sure we were comfortable. And the food! My mouth still waters when I think about the incredible food. The... This is a lovely hotel run by the people from Nour el Nil and after a fantastic dahabiya ride with them, I wanted to see if their hotel was as good - and it is. Its far away from the crowds on the East Bank right beside Medinah Habu Temple, so you can nip in there in the morning before... More

we stayed here mid feb 2013 & enjoyed it very much! the rooms are big, stylish (I´d call it vintage), cosy (!), clean. Good food. Great 5th level roof top terasse- views: valley of queens, Habu Temple, rising hot air balloons at breakfast. After staying at "Winterpalace" and "Old Cateract" we did really enjoy the communicative atmosphere by the owners... More

Our Tour Guide recommended this Hotel and we were certainly not disappointed. We stayed here for 2 nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was large and spacious with a separate bathroom. The shower although not enclosed did not present a problem and the water pressure was beautiful. The staff were fantastic - nothing was a problem.... More
