Our tour group of 100 people stayed for three nights in early February 2017. The rooms were in the newer section called the Garden Suites. The rooms are very large and comfortable with a sitting area and table and chairs. A king size bed was comfy and had nice linens. Separate bathroom with tub and shower combination. The Main hotel...

We have stayed for two days...unbelievable view from the room!! Very close the Pyramids.. Unfortunately lobby is not OK, probably under renovation... and too much checking . Food is very good.. esp. breakfast is superb.

We recently returned from a trip to Egypt arranged by Kensington Tours. We were delighted with every aspect of the trip. Kensington worked with us to develop a private tour that accommodated our interests. Every aspect of the trip was exceptional and we felt very safe through out our stay. I would like to especially commend our guide in Cairo,...

Unfortunately, this hotel does not keep up with its legacy. The personnel at the reception is not friendly and rather grumpy. A smile wouldn't cost much, but apparently, it's a whole issue for them. The rooms are decent for the price, but the devil is in the details: low-quality toiletry, underfurnished minibar. The pool restaurant food is decent but not...

We convinced our Egyptologist to break up our wonderful day of exploring the Giza Plateau with lunch at the Mena House. Enjoyed the food which was not expensive considering the setting. Our tour group wished we were staying there for that part of our tour instead of the (also excellent) Four Seasons Nile Plaza, from which we had to endure...

The location is magical, you feel like you're at an oasis in the middle of the desert, overlooking the captivating pyramids. It's a historic hotel, built during the 1860s, and I was transported into old-movies Egypt with the beautiful interior of the reception. You get a great 24/7 view of the pyramids from day to night... you're basically walking where...

We stayed at the Mena House on a tour with Abercrombie & Kent. It is a wonderful old hotel. Our rooms had a balcony with a view of the Pyramids which was spectacular. We did eat breakfast there & it was very good. They have a tour of the hotel & we saw the Churchill suite & the Montgomery suite...

We had two nights in this fabulously iconic hotel in the Lee of the Giza pyramids. Wonderfully comfortable room/bathroom; magnificent environs, garden, poolside area etc. Excellent evening meal tho breakfasts a bit ordinary. Staff very obliging although our room was not fully prepared (in fairness we checked in late). Wifi only available in limited areas and not in bedrooms. Apparently...

My wife and I had a wonderful but all-too-short one-night stay at this lovely hotel right near the pyramids. The photo that pops up when you first click on the Mena House page here at Tripadvisor is pretty much the exact view we had from our room. This was in the newer or annex portion of the hotel. When I...
